Pm sent keep inmind though, this is a hobby, and people have "real life" to contend with. TK armor usually takes a little time to get depending on what the makers life is like at the time and if they have supplies etc. Patience in key in this hobby! All the above makers are great and come through with their awesome product, so you need not worry, especially if your going with TE2!

Looks to me like your searching for ANH armor, and the body type wouldnt matter for 2 of them since they would be on display with your ANH Vader, which BTW..sounds like an AWESOME display! Well AP is a idealized version of accurate style armor. Similar to the TE/TE2/ ATA stuff. As far as i know, it is not cast off of ANH armor, but likely the same ROTJ suit as TE or GINO, and then brought back to the ANH style, (like TE/TE2/ GINO/ATA) but i dont think anyone is 100% on the AP kits origins but it was likely not cast off of an ANH suit. As far as we know, (or I know lol) no screen used ANH armor is publicly around for anyone to buy and cast. Though im no expert in origins, so i could be wrong. But this is a whole other topic! lol! The difference between the TE/TE2 and ATA kits compared to the AP is the AP helmet is cleaned up and made a little "neater" looking, not so much symmetrical though. the originals were far from symmetrical, just like Vader. Also some parts are "mirrored" so the left and right pieces are the same. So aside from the thighs, the arms (b-ceps and forearms) and calves are the same for left and right . You dont really notice it that much once together, unless you have a super ultra accurate eye like firebladejedi hehe. Also the AP is made of ABS and does not need painting. My opinion, if money isnt too much of an issue, get 2 TM suits for the display at the very least. Like was said by FirebladeJedi, it is the most accurate for ANH armor. If you want your wearable suit just as accurate, and want it to be ANH, again, go with TM. If you cant spend the cash due to the overseas shipping, Id suggest TE2 or ATA. Those however are HIPS and need to be painted. But they are probably the better ones out there accuracy wise. I myself own an AP TK and a TE2 Sandy. I like both suits. Due to the size of my arms i like the AP biceps better becuase they mirror the larger bicep from the original. The TE2 and ATA(i think) have the more screen accurate a-symetrical pieces. Asforbody type for your wearable suit, it doesnt matter as much as you may think. Im 5"8" and top off at 220lbs sometimes, with a 40" max belly, Sometimes i lose weight and am more like 205 with a 38" belly and i fit into the same AP and TE2 armor. Its all in the way you assemble it. I only have shims on the torso and back of the thighs, and if thats done right, you hardly notice it. If you are however a VERY large guy, RT-mod or AM (used to be FX) is your best bet. Both of those are ABS as wel. On a side note, i would suggest not dealing with TE. If you need reasons, do a search on the forum and you will find lots on him. But my personal advice is to stay away from TE.

Sorry to hear about this Karin! like a few others, i know the feeling. Selling stuff can sometimes be frustrating especially when people are so itching to click that "open a dispute" button before they even talk to you. i think once someone did that to me and i just refunded their money and asked them not to buy from me again. All they had to do was ask what was going on. Ive been fortunate concidering ive only had about 2 or 3 bad apples from all the stuff ive made and sold. Like FBJ, i am stepping back for a while as well. Im glad you decided to stay onboard. especially since im gonna need a couple of pairs of those handguards in the near future!

Any Fat Stormtroopers Out There?
Darth Voorhees replied to Chunk's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
I have mine set up very similar. My side plates are riveted to my Kidney plate, and attach with velcro to the ab plate like yours. I however have the straps going from the chest to backplate on the sides under the arms. Mine are pretty much right under the arm cut on the chest and straight back. that way they dont go over the sideplates and become visable. I used to also have the problem of the Ab popping over the chest. i think it was cuz of my lil belly lol i remedied that with elasti straps that attach from behind the chest and attach to the top of the ab plate. The AB never pops over the chest anymore for me! -
Its not a "Blemish" its the way they are made and assembled. They are EXACTLY like the MRCE,which is what i expected from all the pre-order shots i saw of it. Im pretty sure they just took over the license and are using the same molds.

HAHAHAHA! AWESOME! -
heh....i love this one...and the Fett one... this was on Spike TV a couple of years back for when they decided for the first time to show all 6 SW movies back to back. There is a few of these Spike commercials, they are all great. This year they did 2 more and one of my garrison mates was the stormtrooper in them, one was an arobics class, and the other was a Disco and he was on rollerskates....awesome stuff!

You seek Jim from the Star Garrison. He sells the AKER amp, it is small and fits behind the chestplate nicely. It is very loud and Jim has excellent service. I had mic tip speakers at one time, but like you, i found them to be too low. So i now use this and love it. You can check it out and order from him here: -----------

So what FISD troopers can i expect to meet at CV? I will be there all week, and after alot of going back n fourth, i decided to bring my TK with me. I was going to bring the sandy, but the pack and big gun caused an issue with getting my gear there and back, the TK fits all in one tote, so im going that route. Hope to meet some of you guys there...ill be one of the 501st dorks with the name badge LOL just look for Lou Platania "Darth Voorhees" if anyone wants to meet up, PM me and i can give you my Cell number and u can text me when your there. T/MC helmet build[*TMC]
Darth Voorhees replied to SphereBase21's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Tray's kits are great, and Tray provides excellent customer service. You will be very happy with it! As for the hero/stunt questions...i never noticed the number of bumps on the ear caps being different, but then i never built a hero helmet, so ill leave that to the hero helmet experts Although i do know, for the frown you leave it as is for the hero, just cut less teeth out.
