TK-6202

HI guys! Me and a friend ordered 2 ATA helmet kits a while ago, and we've just started to build them. Since this is my first time building an ATA helmet, I think it was best to be very cairful with the trimming, best to take little to less then a little to much. Anyway, we making test fits to see how much to trim, and now I've just found out how big gap it is between the back and front part (where the ears are suposed to be). I'm not sure if it's allways like this or if I've trimmed to much, or if it all will come together when I glue/rivets them together? Ofc I will trim more on most of the helmet, but before I will I just had to ask why this it is looking as it does???

HI guys! I just have a quick question sicne I'm goign to paitn a friends armor to a commander I thought of using same paint as for mine and also same reference.. but not sure if there's been any huge changes? at this screen reference you see clearly the dropboxes are white --------- but here they're gray http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_commander and the black horisontal line at the helmets ears.. I don't have them.. will one without be approved ???

It was first when I got the e-mail that I was in the final, that I posted this thread. I didn't expect to win the cathegory, but when I did, THEN I posted here, and on TDH. So all votes that got me to the final are votes people made without hering a single word from me...

That was very strong words... I never signed up for the costume contest to win, (that explains the bad picture) I just tryed to find a picture of me where you could see the whole costume. I never expected to be one of the finalists but now when I am, I regret that I didn't took a new and better one. When I said spam votes I meant computer votes, fake users with made up e-mails and strange names. There's nothing wrong with asking your friends on msn, fb or forums to vote for you. and to quote the egoshift team, "So tell everyone to get off their asses and vote!", "make sure you have told ALL your friends to come and vote!!"... so I did, and I hope you don't call that cheating to ask people with the same intrest to vote for you, becouse I would do the same for them if someone asked me! I'm sure I got some friends too that have voted more then once and ofcourse they'll be deleted. It wasn't like I had hoped that they deleted all double votes except for my ones. And btw,, From the very first start when the finalists were anounced I wrote down their starting score, and there's still 2-3 pictures who got the exactly same number... I got very hard to belive that there are people entering egoshift by a accident and votes for the costume they like the most, becouse it's very unlikely that noone layed their vote on the other great costumes, it's allways the same costumes score that grows, and I'm sure most of them are from people they know. I think it's very wrong of you to say "If you win - it is nothing than a fake and a lie." If you had told my friends, "hey check out this costume contest", or egoshift had been a popular site with lots of visitors, then I would't bother to tell them about the contest. But noone would ever knew of this contest if I had not told them about it. You think that's wrong? You think all the other competitors have just uploaded their picture and watched while their score growed... I remember one picture, it had like 250 votes. after 2 weeks it still had 250 votes, then the next morning it had over 1 000, and you expect me to belive that they used fair play ? All I've done is asked fellow troopers and friends to lay their vote on me, and if you think all my votes just are from troopers that voted for me becouse I'm a fett or friends that I've begd on my knees to vote for me, think again! And if I'm wrong, so be it, It's just a silly competition! So sorry if you think I've cheated, and sorry if you hate that I'm one of the finalists with a realy bad picture to represent Boba Fett, maybe it was wrong to represent the cathegory Sci Fi with Boba Fett, when the quality was so bad... But that dosn't change why I participated in this contest, or that I love Boba Fett and think my costume had a chane to win... So for all you guys who voted for me even if the picture was realy bad, thankyou, and here's one to compensate you all!

Woo hoo!!! :D Finaly, I've turned 18 and Finaly I was aloud to send in my application and finaly I got approved :D To start with, I have to say thankyou to everyone in this forum for being so kind and helpful with awsnering questions etc... You guys are my heros! And now at last, I'm finaly approved, as TK/BH-6202 My latest event in Sweden Gothenburg was also my last event as a youngling, and as usual I made a video. But this time I also made a fast summary of all my events I've been on Maybe some of you who thought you've never met me recognize me in some shots like, ahhh that's you ? I gues not seens this is in Sweden, but would be fun if some of you guys had trooped on the same events as me ^^ To troop as a youngling has been the best thing I've done in my life! and I hope that there still be some younglings left that can take my place in Nordic Youngling, becouse NY is realy a great way to let a dream come true for a child with a 501st accepted costume but hasn't turned 18! To be aloud to troop with 501st troopers but still not be 18 is a realy great opertunity!
