  1. Being 5'5" I know the pain of thighs and shins touching. Took me a lot of trimming on the shins. Throwing in the thigh ammo pack really screws with getting it dialed in.
  2. I'll dust off my jump boots if they need any Airborne TK's in future movies
  3. It would free up a few rooms in my house for storage hahaha
  4. I'm going to need a second job and my kids aren't going to college at this rate.
  5. It's ok, my wife tells me all the time I have my head up my butt.
  6. Awesome! Only thing I can suggest is attaching the forearm to the bicep and get those front cover strips touching or as close as possible. You'll make higher levels easily.
  7. I haven't got the Black Series bundle with Poe but I got the Walgreens Pop exclusive. Lots of cool accessories coming to the legion
  8. This is where the FO TKs point and call you an "old man".
  9. I think Sonnenschein here on the forums makes them. If not, check MEPD as that's where you're most likely going to find a supplier.
  10. Glad to see you're back on the kit! Welcome back!
  11. Sniper plate looks a little high, other than that looking good. You might want to consider seeing if you can get latex cheese grater hand plates and save the AM ones for another pair of gloves when you don't want to use the hot chemical gloves.
  12. Wow! Amazing weathering job! Looks very well balanced! Congrats!
  13. Wow, my hyperfirm scope didn't come that gold at the top. Definitely tone that down a bit.
  14. Don't use the belt with the square indents. For the cod, I recommend starting with A. Complete your torso strapping system minus the cod to butt strap and see how it fits. If you need to remove more, you'll have that option.
  15. Do the knee ammo pack, sniper plate, and work on your strapping method. Once you have all the pieces assembled, the strapping will bring it all together and keep you busy making numerous adjustments.
  16. Looking good and that's a smart idea adding the nylon pieces. I used ABS squares in between a folded end of elastic. Looks like you have a nice system in place!
  17. I don't think anyone wishes that these kits fail. It irks a lot of folks about the belt and TD but those are easily fixed or swapped out anyways. Even for $650 that's not a bad deal. I'm more concerned about them hiking it up and the cost of their TFA stuff that they will guard with an iron fist.
  18. I am taking a shot in the dark but I figured ANOVOS is getting people comfortable with the company. Their other Star Wars costumes are quite expensive
  19. http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=7289around the 1 min mark is what I mean.
  20. I have an MTK/AM2.0 hybrid. For $350 this kit is a steal! For $650 with all the add-ons, it's still steal. I was making the point that I've spent enough on my current build to buy two ANOVOS. I don't think it's perfect but wouldn't cost much more to get to Centurion status. Personally, I prefer screen used than idealized troopers.
  21. I doubt we will see them selling TFA armor for less than 1K. That's going to be their cash cow.
  22. Looking good! Kid of hard to tell but your tube stripes look a tad low. Did you do it a pencil width away from the top of the cheek tube?
  23. I really wish these could be ANH variations. I'm just not a fan of RTOTJ armor
