  1. Joann's is a chain of fabric stores. Try there or any local fabric stores. Walmart has some too, just don't buy Dritz snaps because they are cheap for a reason. Check a few of the build threads as some people have posted some more cost friendly snaps that are actually high quality.
  2. I pretty much just follow everything Tony posts and use his knowledge and experience for my build. Hasn't failed me yet!
  3. Just read lots of other builds, especially the Stickied ones. Read the tutorials and How-tos. It may seem daunting at first, but once you get a few pieces glued together, you'll feel a lot more comfortable. The hardest part is waiting on the armor. Seems like you got that out of the way already.
  4. Another tip it to paint white or clear using the stencil then using blue. It'll help from running.
  5. Teeth look good, just square it up a little bit more. You can see you have a bit more to go on these close ups. Make that last tooth not so round. Can you try on that thigh with your compression pants and standing up? Have someone take the picture for you. Kind of hard to tell with the picture you provided.
  6. Leave the lump alone. Original buckets were not symmetrical and had lots of bumps and imperfections. You have a lot of room left to remove on the teeth.
  7. Since you're in Europe, you should go with TM or RS props. AM2.0 is for taller/bigger troopers.
  8. I got the newly updated ANH E-11 a week ago and mine came painted
  9. Sorry, as Terry posted, don't make any cuts until you can compare with your thighs.
  10. I have mine coming about even or just below the bottom of my knee cap. I'm 5'5" and I'm still doing final fitments but so far I've cut 1 3/4" off the bottom of my AM2.0 shins.
  11. I removed the return edge on my cod piece because it was rubbing. Some of the return edges, such as your thighs and calves, will need to be reduced/removed as you wear the armor and find pinch points.
  12. The french blue is made by Model Master which is owned by Testors. Took me a while to find it in the local hobby shop because of this.
  13. I think you can recover it. ABS paste is pretty versatile. Just need to take your time sanding and polishing to blend it it. Luckily, it's not in a highly visible area but when it's your armor, you'll always know. Glad nothing broke off
  14. Look at ukswrath's ATA bucket build thread. He has the measurements. Then you use the PVC pipe for the thermal detonator to trace out a rounded edge then cut it out.
  15. Leave the torso return edge. If you're doing the original strapping method, you need the extra meat. I also think it gives the armor that extra depth and looks best left intact.
  16. Good luck with the build! Lots of trimming and sanding ahead of you.
  17. You're so close!
  18. I couldn't find them on facebook. I would prefer something stateside as well because my experience with international orders has not been very great.
  19. That kit looks awful. There is one exception to the never buy on ebay and that's mtk_armory. He makes affordable armor that has been Centurion/SWAT approved
  20. Check out these videos http://kotaku.com/eight-players-who-killed-it-in-the-star-wars-battlefron-1735641858 Snipers can take out a tie fighter in 1 shot.
  21. I use the construction helmet band. I cut the mounts out of a $10 helmet and glued it in. I can remove the band to clean it if needed.
  22. Then you'll really look like a bobble head
  23. Went to download it last night and forgot I don't have a live account right now. Spent all my fun money on my hyperfirm lol. At least I have it pre-ordered for November. I didn't op for the Han Solo mini-mini fridge version. New Guitar Hero comes out in a week and a half though!
  24. Actually, I think I cut 1-3/4" and the last 1/4" was used as a return edge.
