  1. Thanks Paul It just goes to show how inconsistent these helmets were. Joe
  2. Looks like the frown on the identities ESB mark II doesn't have the frown cut out. Weird...
  3. Thanks guys thats really useful. Appreciate the help. Joe
  4. Here is a set of screen used ESB Mark II Stormtrooper Helmet decals. The helmet was taken from the docking bay set of ROTJ so may have been used as a deep background helmet in ROTJ as well.Note: These were made from paper and were not glossy at all, those differences aside do you see any differences between them and the regular ESB helmets? Any screenshots of original film ESB decals would be very helpful. Also notice how the colours look so different! You cannot judge colour from photos, pantone is the only way to be sure! . Thanks for your help. Joe
  5. Just astounding! You are an artist Paul. What gets me is that it is so much more accurate than a lot of the adult builds on here!!!!
  6. Trooperbay also sells this....
  7. Really useful pictures for my ESB Mark II thanks buddy. Also should we be spraying our neck trim white now? :-)
  8. Happy to help out the FISD and make sure it gets what it needs! Joe
  9. Wow that really has the look! Superb work Paul. Prop forgery!!! Joe
  10. Paul Awesome work! Wish these were around when I was a young un. What are the final moulds made from? Joe
  11. I'm sure there have been issues with this seller on the RPF. Check the threads on there. Joe
  12. Mark at CFO offers parts as well.
  13. Or you could weather the armour. I've mixed hips and ABS and with decent weathering you couldn't spot the difference.
  14. Top guy! I love his photoshop comparision pictures, awesome stuff. Thanks Tom
  15. I can't get enough of original helmets! Edit. Joe
  16. Looks just like my old helmet!
  17. Can someone with a better eye than me list the differences between ESB Mark II and ROTJ armour? Also what type of glue do you think the brown glue residue is? It looks similar to the glue on the ROTJ helmets. Would be nice to nail this. Joe
  18. Congratulations!
  19. I would love one. There is not enough love for ROTJ. The more you study it the more you like it. Joe
  20. Nice one on the build. I'm a fellow P90X fan, it changed my life. I'm starting Insanity next. Keep us updated with pictures! Joe
  21. Someone should ask Simon of RS Props, he might have noticed when he sanded his helmet down. Would be nice to be able to 100% nail a perfect replica.
  22. Read the threads on here there's only about a million on this subject! Pretty much any armour can be made 501st acceptable. There's a ton of info about different vendors on here, you just have to read the threads.
  23. You're the Sherlock Holmes of the trooper world! Great research and after all these years. FYI I contacted Brian R a while back and he sold the helmet, no idea who has it now though.... Thanks for sharing. Joe
  24. Andy is a top bloke, I've been to the shed of glittering delights once!!!!
  25. Also the TE was cast from the inside not the outside, you are thinking of the second TE helmet that was scanned and not disassembled, where he just cast the ears. TM is the best Hero in mu humble opinion.
