Now there is a detachment we need to move this costuming club into the future. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Read here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/33021-tfa-trooper-designation/ The answer is no. The TFA TK will remain... a TK not the other thing with two letters that aren't T and K. -Eric

Some guy said in a post that a friend said that his OT TK shipped... not worth screen capturing until actual proof. The game of telephone is dangerous -Eric

Ok. Let's make two. A regular TFA TK and then a vest trooper. Let's call it the ferris Bueller trooper! But listing all the optional accessories make sense to me. People can mix and match and the ding dongs who don't let people troop because it's not in the CRL will be happy. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Guys!? Star Wars! Please stop the name calling and the negativity. This thread is as easily lockable as it is to attack each other. One more personal snipe and it gets locked. -Eric

I'm down with one CRL with many optional accessories. -Eric

That was more about the evolution and the path detachments took at the time than a planned logical separation between TK and TD based on costume differences. See Daetrln for a history lesson. FYI I think Mepd came first before FISD. I guess the thing to do if the FO's want FN in front of their number they may want to nag the LMO to create a new detachment for the new stormy. He may say that there are enough variations to support that. (I don't agree) But if you do decide to be more self contained please do elect Clint Randall the first DL. If it stays on FISD it remains TK for as long as I am DL (unless the LMO tells me to do otherwise) What happens when they're called something else in EP8? Or they're called TK a lot more often? Word. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

LOL you goof! This has nothing to do with TFA vs OT. I purchased the anovos kit but I was too big for it. I sold it. I love the new stormtrooper. I have the figures all over my apartment. But I still maintain that one designation for all stormtroopers is the right thing for the legion. We are all stormtroopers. This semantical, nit picky, and time wasting discussion does not change that. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Best idea I've heard all day. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi folks. For as long as I am DL (until March) I will fight whom ever (who ever?) I need to fight for all of our costumes to remain as TK. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Question about the 501st
Darth Aloha replied to Nosey10's topic in Getting Started - Read this First!
I find that wearing an expensive costume around a bunch of kids hopped up on cake and icecream to be a bad combination. I feel the same way about anywhere that alcohol is served. Same fears, different age group. Unless it was a special needs kid who was a huge fan of Star Wars, I try to skip those events if/when they come up. But like Brian said... it depends on the region. Yep! How else would you learn where to buy and how to put together a stormtrooper costume -Eric -
Yeah! Someone with the authority should totally do that... oh wait. -Eric

Damn. That's one shiny squirrel! -Eric

Glueing elastic on the armor? ANH TK Stunt
Darth Aloha replied to Penguitrooper's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
Snaps attached to plastic also allow you to change the length of the elastic easily. That helps when first fitting your new costume. And if your body changes you may want to adjust over time. And if you use snaps with elastic you will be able to take your armor apart and store/transport it. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

My RS Commisioned Armour
Darth Aloha replied to Boomstick's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
I wouldn't advise sitting down... but it is possible if you're careful. Most TKs can put their costume on without assistance. It takes some practice though -Eric -
Strong work Tony. Really nice build. And it seems to fits you well. -Eric
