I have been waiting for you to get your kit Tim. I step away from the forum for a few weeks to coach softball and get some other projects done, come back and your are almost done with your build! Congratulations on your arrival and build. I'm about 2 and a half months or so out from receiving mine **fingers crossed**. Good luck with the rest of your build. I'll be watching your updates. Again....great job! Damon (Izzy)

Izzy replied to AFMedic's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Looking good Mr. John! I've got an RT set coming and I hope it goes as pain free for me. Your TK looks good, I'd like to see some more pics of the inside of your bucket, theres alot going on in there! -
Great newsletter! The Q&A on EI badge was a good read! It looks like alot of time and effort goes into the monthly newsletter. Great work by all who put it out. Thank you!

CAP/CAP-West From the Horse's Mouth
Izzy replied to Scootch's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Scootch, Sorry I missed meeting you at the Clovis Rodeo Parade this past weekend, I had JROTC to run, but all the pictures I've seen & from speaking to a few members, it looked like a great time with a great turnout! If you have anymore info on your work-up, please keep posting. It's very interesting to see the time & work that goes into creating the final product that we all have the privilege to obtain. Great work pal! -
Rob will get back to you, usually about a weeks time, due to his day job, but he will. I am on his waitlist, with an ETA of October, but all the reasearch I've done the past 3 years, it's worth the wait!

I usually only collect vintage, but I have a bad habit of picking up SW stuff that I like, (All of it according to the wife!) So, YES! Interested party here too.

Hyperfirm vs. doopydoo, MG-34/DLT-19
Izzy replied to KarinOlava's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
This looks like it is a bit of a personal preference discussion. I received a hyperfirm E-11 a several weeks ago, and the moment I excitedly showed it to my kid (also a huge Star wars fan)......he dropped it. --A-OK! THAT right there put me on the hyperfirm side of the fence. -
Like Daetrin said, the more you contribute, the faster you will get there....(this should be 50) Lol.

I always enjoy reading the newsletter every month! Not only is it informative, but funny. My favorites are the troop showcases that show the children who are sick or ill and the excitement and awe that is brought to them. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR HARD WORK !!!

Izzy replied to Daetrin's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
None yet, Received an email from RT on Tuesday, that October is my ETA..... (now I know how Anakin Skywalker felt, not being allowed on the Jedi Council..) Lol -
I spent almost 3 years researching armor and I finally pulled the blaster trigger and went on Rob's wait list tonight. Thank you Rob and everybody here for posting such detailed and helpful information!
