  1. I know Vern mate. I was only messing
  2. Man! Say what you want about AA but that man forms armour FAST!
  3. Also the pinching might feel worse because you have the Sharp plastic on your skin. It won't feel as bad when your arm is covered with the undersuit.
  4. Great looking build. Great to see people using screen shots of the movie and not pics of another members buld. You get to see much more detail that way.
  5. Here is a great tutorial by Billhag http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=4697
  6. Hi Nate. Problem is that for scratch built blasters the measurements are never going to be the same. It only has to be two or three mm out and the the rail would be too long or too short. I suppose it would work for someone to do a run for Deac Sterlings but as far as I know no one makes them.
  7. Congratulations Henrik. Not sure if it's just how it looks in the pics but do the back of your thighs have cover strips or are they an overlap? Also, could we have an action shot please. Oh and I don't see a pic of the helmet showing the green lenses
  8. Hi Richard, good to have you here. It's a very exciting time, the start of a build. Remember to take your time and ask any questions that you have. What armour do you have
  9. To Paul.
  10. Mate, I not putting down what you have there but the FX buckets are nowhere near accurite. If you restore it, later down the line you will be thinking why did I bother spending all that time and money on this. Even if you do a fantastic job at the end of the day it will still be an FX. Sell it for a few bucks to start your helmet fund and get one of the seconds that are available here from time to time. They might be cheaper than you think. Then you will have a helmet that is worth putting the effort into. All the best in what you decide to do. Rob
  11. Could it be that your shin armour is a bit big for you? If it is a bit loose that could be a reason for it twisting.
  12. Why don't they make dry roasted peanut butter?

  13. Well done Michael for sticking to your guns. And we are in no way a bunch of wankers! We are a whole detachment of wankers!
  14. This is certainly not about fear of competition. TM is one of the most skilled armour makers in the world and TM armour is considered the best by many, many people all over the world. Why would he be 'fearful' of a new maker
  15. Sorry Rusty, this is all I could find By bsac15 at 2011-05-02
  16. Have you tried crossing them over your neck so your left strap is over your right shoulder and vice verca. That seems to help it all stay in place.
  17. I had the very same problem. My shim is about 2" also. The way I went about it is this, Glue your shim onto the ab plate and kidney on one side of the armour and on the other side glue it to the kidney but attach it to the ab with velcro. This way it opens up and is easier to suit up. I'll try and dig up some pics and post them.
  18. Bloody thieves! I think the word is spreading pretty fast about them mate. Hopefuly that should slow them down on the sales front. Sorry to hear this.
  19. Maybe you could shorten the suspender straps so they don't stretch so far and allow the ab and kidney plate to go too low.
  20. Cool. The armour fits you really well.
  21. Nice build Andy. Just a small thing but maybe the drop boxes could come up closer to the belt just a bit.
  22. Me too
  23. Some people feel that there is still some information to be gained from this thread. As long as the thread stays on a forward momentum and doesn't turn into a bashing thread we are happy for it to stay open.
