  1. do you have to spray paint the helmet white before you paint it?
  2. Yes the right ear is thicker, I will have to trim the ear cover down 3-5 mm to be equal to the left, that should thin out the lower half. helps to have extra sets of eyes and to walk away for a few hours. thanks
  3. Got the other ear on, not perfect, but it can get re-worked later. Let me see if I can get the photos posted.
  4. I guess I need to figure out how to attach photos with photobucket, doesn't seem to want to link the file.
  5. I am wondering what everyone thinks about this ear placement. Does it look right? I know I still need to sand them and make them smoother, but I just want your opinion. Thanks Rich http://i1157.photobu...603828012_o.jpg <a href="http://s1157.photobucket.com/albums/p592/rich17shoaff/Stormtrooper/?action=view&current=621872_10151160310617619_603828012_o.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p592/rich17shoaff/Stormtrooper/621872_10151160310617619_603828012_o.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Will post a few pictures of my progress. Forearm has been sized and ready to take the round down off and glue together.
  7. Didn't get anything completed today, it was too nice out so I spent my day off staining the deck and fence.... now I am spending my evening reading Ingrid's build.
  8. Here is my first cut, looks good, needs sanded... more difficult than I thought to snap off. decided to cut outside the line and sand it up to the desired size. Tonight I also marked one shin for trimming, but I will trim it tomorrow... unless it is a nice sunny day tomorrow and then I will be staining the fence and deck (Oh, what fun!)
  9. Here are the photos of my planned snipe plate cuts, do they look like they are in the right place? Thanks Rich
  10. I have an ATA Stunt. Getting ready to post first pictures... been reading and reviewing tons of threads and pictures, and hopefully what I have envisioning is correct... I do have my first question... how do I determine the width of the cover strip for my shins?
  11. Received my kit yesterday and I am starting my build tonight. First thing I will tackle is the sniper plate, I will be marking it and posting pictures before I do my first cut. Since this is my first build I want to make sure I am marking correctly. Thanks in advance for any assistance or advice. Rich
