  1. Incredible job Rolf, as close to perfection as you can get. I can't wait to see this beauty weathered and to get my hands on a new flexible TM!!!!! And that is really too much, Paul! I assembled just one suit, Rolf showed his skills in many of them, and with this one is surpassing himself! As for the helmet, I think the cap is a bit tall, I'd trim the brow a bit more and raise the faceplate.
  2. Well, the only thing I did was repeating that at first Gino said that his molds touched the inside of real helmets, then he took that back and admit that his are duplicates of the molds that actually touched the inside of real helmets; so he made a false claim in the beginning. This lie probably helped him raising the price of his helmets and gaining more credit in the prop community. Even if he repeated many times now that his are mold duplicates, the false claim is still on his website and I think that he should set the record straight and correct that. But of course he said he won't let some "know-nothings tell him what he should write on his website", or something like that. I think that it's not fair to remove a whole thread and "clean it up", since it's public, users must be left free to form an opinion on original posts, not "sanitized" ones. Many times other users had repeated again and again the same personal opinion, and in a way harsher than mine, but no such measures were taken. I kept repeating the point of the thread because Gino kept avoiding it and refusing to correct a false claim still there in black and white plain english, and my recapping led to the warning, since "I was just repeating my personal opinion and adding nothing to the discussion".
  3. "Pablo, It was removed for clean up and will be brought back as soon as Michael is done... although it probably won't be reopened for more posting. Art ---Quote (Originally by TKDUEUNO)--- Hi Art, can I just ask why the topic on Gino's molds has been removed from the forum?"
  4. Well... I received a warning from the RPF and my posts will be removed from the thread.
  5. Topic over at RPF has beel pulled again. Do you know why they did that?
  6. That's the ONLY thing I really demand and look forward. I just hope they don't re-dub the italian version, I'm too emotionally tied to those voices!
  7. Please......... no........... LEAVE THEM ALONE!!! Enjoy your money, George, and let them be free!
  8. I wanted to point that out too, but I was reluctant to critique one of the masters
  9. Awesome Looks like you need a tighter undersuit, though!
  10. This is definitely on my "TO DO" list.
  11. I know how you're feeling... and it's a sweeeeet sensation
  12. Why. Just WHY. Please don't mess with our memories and try to find something new, for God's sake. Leave the old movies alone.

  18. When I did the belt I I wasn't aware about that difference between TK styles, but now it really bugs me... Maybe I'll do another belt in the future, and I'll relace the Caboots with the new and nice TKBoots.. Yesterday I tried to remove the upper rivets before the photoshoot, but the holes in the belt were too visible... It's a simple animated gif
  19. No, she meant rivets: ---------- I used just one on each side, but I'm sure the second really helps in keeping the faceplate firm when you're drilling holes for the ears assembly! That also can reduce the gap over the tube that can lead to a bad assembly. You can also see the second rivet in this picture, on the first helmet on the bottom, which is the only one without ears yet: ---------
  20. Just put a strip of thin foam on the back of the thighs. it keeps the front close to your leg and reduces the problem. Way to go! I have no mesh too Just use a balaclava to cover the face inside the helmet (and which can also help in taming your heavy-metal hair!!! )
