  1. It could be either. Could be a cut down version of the thick ANH S-trim. But we need more helmets to look at to know for sure.
  2. We can't base the CRL on one helmet alone. And it still looks pretty S-shaped to me.
  3. The best match for the black sticky stuff was something used with building RC cars, wasn't it?
  4. It's the belt corners that are cut at 45 degrees. Not the drop boxes. I suggest you take a tour of our gallery and look at some real suits. That should clear up anything else. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/category/7-general-stormtrooper-reference/
  5. I think you should hold off and save up more money until the rom/fx is in your budget. Anything else is just delaying yourself.
  6. You don't need a box for it. It's quite well protected in the thick shrink wrap it comes in. Almost no one I know with a rom/fx has made boxes for it.

  9. 25 is just for the back of the shins. Not the thighs. The shins open and close while you're moving when you flex your muscles if you use the hook and elastic closing method, so the extra 5 mm helps to hide the opening when you move. The thighs are static so there's no need for extra material on those strips.
  10. It's true and you should be fine. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  11. Yes. You use it to open and close the clam shell. The left side is, if built accurately, permanently joined together by elastics attached tot he three rivets.
  12. I have seen THG's work in person, and it kicks hyperfirm's an impolite person when it comes to details. But it's quite heavy so keep that in mind.
  13. There are 3 of them on the belt. Each end, and one in the middle.
  14. Its not done. The closest thing is the special edition sand troopers that everyone dislikes. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  15. I have no idea. But I don't think these hooks are measured in specific units either. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  16. You can make stirrups that attach to the inside of the shin and loop around your foot.

  18. I personally don't see why the number of turns of the coil is even an issue. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

  21. Suits can be approved without a finished CRL. Brian knows this. It's just more work and time on his part, as LMO. Personally I think working towards a finished CRL that can be used is a good idea but I think making it official is worth waiting with until we know for sure that there isn't something we missed that can be added. Certainly no need to rush things out of the gate at least.
  22. So look at pictures without a flash. We have lots of them. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  23. And which ever method you do use, leave some gaps. Don't make it air tight. You want the gaps to help with ventilation and from fogging up your lenses.
  24. No. The FX kit is like that for most full size adults. It's made too shallow.
  25. Don't be. Next celebration is in London. They are talking about the one after that. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
