  1. This is all in accordance with the ROTJ look, and I think it looks great! Approved!
  2. Send a PM to troopermaster here on the forum.
  3. Painted white on the side and unpainted brass on the cod.
  4. It's in the CRL under centurion specs, and it says about 10 mm from the edge.
  5. Hey Shawn! Looking good! My only suggestion is to find a more solid attachment of the shoulder straps (more/stronger velcro?). They are "floating" quite a lot in your pictures. But I'll leave that as a suggestion, not holding it against you. Approved! Nice to see another ROTJ trooper, and that you've finally finished your long-running project! And May the 4th be with you.
  6. You may need to adjust the knee plate so that it's lined up properly on the horizontal plane, but I see you got the idea anyway, trying to follow the ridges on the shin. And yes, the marks for the rivets look good too. Make sure that the trimmed edge is straight and smooth on the ab plate. It looks a little uneven now.
  7. Vern mentioned it briefly, but I'll say it again. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING Take pictures of all the steps from hunk of clay to finished mould. It'll save you a lot of grief later on.
  8. Looking good! I'm not the greatest expert at ROTJ, but I think you did a great job on the helmet.
  9. One inch is 25.4 mm. Don't you guys ever use the metric system?
  10. If you look at a screenshot you can see that the belt extends up to and partially over the button plate on the ab. --------
  11. So, Clas Ohlson doesn't exist in denmark, but finding a micro switch should be easy. Clas Ohlson sells them for about 4 USD.
  12. Under the pushbutton is two holes that it was soldered to. One wire to each hole and the other end of the wires to the microswitch. It won't matter which wire goes where.
  13. Thicker is better, just don't go crazy at it either.
  14. You don't have to cut the red line if if you don't need to. It's only done for comfort. But otherwise it looks pretty good.
  15. Looking good Morten!
  16. Find some M3 flat head machine screws. Should be stocked in any hardware store.
  17. Yes, the snap should be facing inwards.
  18. You can't only look at the CRL. But yes, we might need to adjust that.
  19. It is a single male snap. It's used for a piece of elastic mounted on the inside of the kindney across the gap as a part of the system to close the armour around your body. Some examples of other centurion guys who did it right: And more importantly, how it was made on the real suits: You can find more reference pictures in this thread: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=10786
  20. You can drill out the snap. If you're careful you won't damage the plastic. All you need is a new snap and mount that one inwards.
  21. Oh.. you were talking about that snap. It's supposed to point inwards. I thought you were talking about the two snaps that hold the belt up....
