  1. Thank you everyone for the congrats on getting EIB approved! To be honest, haven’t had any issues with the shoulders till that picture was taken, but that may have been due to me rushing to get the pictures done quickly since my husband was agreeing to take them finally. Usually the only thing that I notice from troop pictures is that I stand waaayyyy too much like a girl, not hard to pick me outta a line-up! I did think the holster seemed a bit long when I first bought it, but no one else said anything till now so I didn’t worry about it….Probably still won’t worry about it, lol. Also, as for trimming down my forearms and biceps, I would love for the forearms to be a bit smaller, but they have been trimmed down as much as they can be before having to reform something to stick a cover strip to, so I will most likely leave them be.

  4. Ah, awesome! I actually didn't think to look there, I was using the search bar. Thanks!
  5. Ok, so I know I found it in a thread somewhere, about how far from the edge of the armor on the kidney and ab plates to install the side rivets. I can't seem to find the info, so if someone could point me in the right direction or knows how far they are from the edge, the help would be greatly appreciated!
  6. Hey Josh! I actually did the exact same thing as you and ended up with the small magnets too! I now have purchased these magnets http://www.amazon.co...s00_i00_details. Tested them out and think they are gonna work pretty well. Definately strong, still sporting a bruise from where I got pinched!
  7. Hopefully someone can help me out here! Someone ealier mentioned making sure I had the tubestripe templates on the correct side of the helmet. After not getting a very good opinion as to which are right or left from my husband, I decided to ask here so I can get to painting!
  8. Awesome! Thanks for the advice, I'll try the suggestions and see how it goes. Yeah, definately can't touch my ear with it on, lol.
  9. So I'm getting ready to glue cover strips onto my forarms and am just not sure if they should be shortened. I would prefer to get advice on if and how I should cut them down before I get them glued together and then have to take them back apart. They seem kinda long to me but I am new to this so... Anyway, any opinions and help would be appreciated!
  10. I'm waiting to get the tube stripe template in the mail that I ordered from Trooperbay, and will be hand painting them as well.
  11. So here is my ATA helmet! Just looking to get any feedback and views from you guys. This is my first piece of armor to finish and was a bit nerve racking! I followed along with Pandatroopers "how to" which was very helpful. I wish i would have painted the inside of the helmet black, which I might still might do (I can completely disassemble my helmet since I didn't use any rivets), but thought I would get some opinions here first!
  12. Just curious, did anyone here that ordered from DoopyDoo's get shipping info to track their order?
