  1. Yes. But I didn't need to trim it that much, and I doubt you need to either.
  2. Don't put a heatgun to it. No need for that with TM parts. I did trim the curve a little larger on the inside of the elbow to make room.
  3. Yeah, I have thin arms too. I just cut off as much as I needed to and tried to take equal amounts from each half of the bicep. On the forearms, you only use the back/inner half to do the sizing.
  4. Yeah. Our reference section: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/category/7-general-stormtrooper-reference/
  5. You'll just have to look at proportions and find what looks right. Mike Appling (trooperbay) did a lot of research of things like that for his decals and I think his are about 16 mm as well. There is some more discussion about this here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/24261-lemaxims-rs-pvc-anh-stunt-build-rs-wip/page-5
  6. If memory serves me right, those are about 20 mm wide when printed correctly, and a more accurate width is around 16 mm.
  7. Keep in mind those are too wide.
  8. Unless you're making a shadow trooper, you don't want patent leather.

  13. Left arm. It's been featured on TM for several years, and RS too of course.
  14. If you really want to cut your cod you can do that after having trooped a couple of times and gotten the feel for your suit. Cutting it before then is pointless. It's also massively inaccurate.
  15. Don't cut the cod. Trim the two pieces that sit on the ab plate. Look at reference pictures in our gallery. It's what they are there for.

  17. You've made your point Stefan. Let's give it a rest now.
  18. I'm supposing that Phil is busy with real life. Doing the approvals takes more out of your day than one might think.
  19. In that case I can only say good luck, and that I'm happy to see more accurate troopers in souther cali.
  20. Are your thighs not properly closed in the back?
  21. Your links will still work, no worries. Alrighty then I'll use your suggestion as the new title. Italics won't work in the title though. Mark, that's a bit too cheeky!
  22. Andy, I'm considering renaming this thread to "Power cylinder research thread". What do you think? Other's options of course also welcome.
  23. Surely not everything is classified? I'm sure if we get things moving the community can reverse engineer the rest. The power cylinder research thread comes to mind as an excellent example. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/17306-3-central-fuses-on-e11-blaster-cylinders/
  24. Definitely looks like they made some good improvements. If you want to compare it with the Mk2 there are some nice comparison photos between a DD Mk2 vs Hyperfirm MG34 here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/15891-hyperfirm-vs-doopydoo-mg-34dlt-19/
  25. Can't you post up some of your research materials, photo's and etc in a big T-track research thread so we can put this to rest, once and for all? Maybe it already exists somewhere, but in that case, a copy paste onto here with a link to the original couldn't be too hard. I think it would benefit the whole community.
