  1. It didn't show on the pictures, so I had to ask
  2. No screws on the detonator clips?
  3. Here you go buddy! http://www.whitearmor.net/eib/certificates/6682-centurion.png (Yes, I know the signatures are outdated. We are working on it)
  4. Send a PM to Scootch
  5. Stormtroopers are no doctors. Besides, if I start doing exceptions then people will start wanting to have changes to their old ones or get all kinds of crazy titles. So nobody gets special treatment. Even if I like academics.

  7. ATA helmet kits are a bit over $100. Well worth the cost. Sometimes AP sells discount helmets here for about the same. If you can't afford $100+ right now I recommend waiting until you can instead of buying cheap and sub-par.
  8. Sorry to hear you've already paid for it. What you have there is the absolute bottom line of what is stormtroopers and there will be a lot of work making that suit work for the modern day requirements. 5-10 years ago it might have passed, but not these days.
  9. Don't waste your money on it.
  10. That is how the coverstrip goes onto the pieces yes. I would recommend finishing trimming the each part before gluing them together.
  11. Yes, that area should be roughly 15 mm wide total. So you need to trim that back to about 7.5 mm on each side of the cut. See picture. The bottom side you trim as much as you need to get a good fit. And then use a ~15 mm coverstrip to join the halves. It looks like you have your pieces paired up properly now, so just trim to fit and join them up.
  12. Fantastic Stefan! I want a new TM too! Really need to finish my Fett soon so I can move on.

Same guy as here. At least his mic tips are recasts. The rest probably also is, but I don't know for sure. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/18889-recaster-on-ebayanyone-know-him/
  14. You can slim it down by trimming the downward side when you wear the forearm, on both halves. It also kind of looks like you have one right and one left forearm taped together. I'm looking at the L and R written inside the parts (last picture).
  15. Those are AP stock photos that he sometimes uses in sales threads. But to my knowledge, AP doesn't sell on Ebay. So you're betting a lot of money on something you don't know what it is. He could send you something entirely different because those are photos are not his.

  17. He's banned now.
  18. It's an easy thing to overlook. All DO's have their pet peeves that they spend more focus on. Mine were the sniper knee and knee belt for example. Phil likes his holsters.
  19. No, that is not why NE isn't on the list. NE is not on our list, and will not be on our list of recommended vendors because it is an unapproved recast (from the perspective of the makers of the original armour). IE, that is the bad kind of recast. It is however (like many other recasts, good or bad) 501st approved as long as it is assembled properly and fits its wearer. But we at FISD cannot recommend it because of its origins.
  20. I like the suit even if the holster tabs are a bit wide. That's an easy fix. 5 minutes and a sharp blade. But you know very well that previous approvals doesn't matter, even for basic approval of a new owner.
  21. Yeah, I know.

  23. You also did that with your hand guards, remember?
  24. I went ahead and changed the measurement mentioned. It'll be up to the user to print it to the right scale.
  25. Exactly. Thanks for helping me out Paul. I had a long shift at work so my mind wasn't at it's peak performance.
