  1. It's also super easy to find pictures of original armour that clearly shows that the blue paint is a "true" blue, not a darker version. Same thing with the grey, which is fairly light. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/image/921-ab-plate-04jpg/
  2. I like to use sites such as http://www.paypalfeescalculator.com/ when sending larger amounts of money. It will calculate exactly how much extra you need to send when using the goods and services option for the seller to receive the right amount. There are many more sites that does the same. Just google "paypal fee calculator".
  3. Eagerly awaiting proper suit up pictures
  4. Only if you're making an ANH version and go for accuracy.
  5. He means the plastic part that goes on top of the elastic to hide it from view.
  6. I noticed, but don't know what to make of it. It also uses exactly the same rom/FX picture as in the previously posted listing: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Starwars-costume-stormtrooper-armour-storm-trooper-NEWYEAR-HALLOWEEN-FANCY-DRESS-/291009323272?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&nma=true&si=hdTkLdg6QrV87E1ksa751EgwZVU%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc Which only makes it more fishy.
  7. FX paired with an MRCE helmet. I wouldn't even give it half the money he's asking. http://www.rspropmasters.com/armour/ if you must use a website. Or just send them a PM on here or to troopermaster for some equally delicious TM armour.
  8. Yeah, sounds like damage from transit and storage then. You could try "poor mans fiberglass" by soaking a swab of t-shirt or other fabric in CA glue and attach it to the back over the cracks.
  9. Are they attached to both front and back? That would certainly add to the stress. I think some small cracks are hard to avoid, but keeping them free floating over the back makes them less vulnerable.
  10. Nice!
  11. That's a bummer that he can't wait. Otherwise, you the top 3 armour makers in the world, right there in the UK. All you need is to talk to either RS, TM or CFO depending on your preference. All of them can offer assembled suits as well if you don't want to build it yourself and save a little cash.
  12. That is the true spirit of centurion. Not stopping at where the check boxes stop, but making the best you can..
  13. That looks good enough to me. Remember, you want the biceps and forearms armour touching each other when you hold your arms down.
  14. Your drop boxes are supposed to align with the outside edges of the ammo belt itself. Easy.
  15. I'm glad I can tell a recaster from another even when I'm drunk.
  16. Like Billy said I think it's an MR recast. I think I've seen the picture before in similar discussions. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  17. I agree with Paul. Start with the brackets. If you don't like it you can go for snaps, but either way leave the screws as you at least get the right look from the outside.

  19. Please follow the instructions on page 1.
  20. You're welcome

  22. Green is the accurate colour. But the ATA faceplate needs modifications to become a hero version. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
  23. Maybe he is just a crappy recaster, hence the poor products compared to the doopy parts?
