I would put half a shim on each side and make sure the split between them is centred.

There are other ways to find your old posts, like using advanced search. Why do you need to find 5 year old posts anyway?

Taking a hard look at some original helmets should also help you see what to change.

It was removed by TE and Gino as a "tell" to spot fakes from genuine helmets. Hence all TE linage helmets are missing it as long as it was not added afterwards by someone altering their moulds. All stunts, and to a lesser degree hero helmets had the detail. It's a feature of the mould it came from. Saying that sandtroopers didn't have it is just plain false as the helmets are identical to TK.

No, I mean if you are looking for tutorials you should look at tutorials made for the MRCE helmet as it is exactly the same as the eFX.

Try looking for MRCE. It's the same helmet but from when it was made by master replicas.

Looks decent, but you should move your back plate upwards and paint the earbumps.
