  1. Yeah, just trim off the peaks as you see fit. Yes, it's normal to have them a little oval like that. It's actually more inaccurate to note have them as ovals.
  2. When you strap your forearm and bicep together, use a wide elastic. It's both accurate, and helps protect the inside of your elbow.
  3. Back of the forearms, shins, thighs and biceps you just trim as much as you need to get a nice tight fit. This is where you size up all the pieces to fit your body. Lengthwise on that forearms I recommend lining up the elbows and cut the wrist where you need it.
  4. That's a mistake of the DO. So hopefully he will look into that when he has the time. But I'll change yours now since you're asking for it. Actually, it seems we forgot to tell Steve he was supposed to do it, so it's not his fault.
  5. You can leave a little on the back of the forearms and biceps. It kind of varied between each original suit. It's easy to remove some more later on if you need to because those areas can cause pinching. But overall the original suits had very little return on these parts.
  6. Hate to loose you but you have been moved over to the regular TK group now.
  7. Excellent on both accounts.
  8. You beat me to it, Eric!
  9. You leave far too much return. On average I would say that 5 mm is maximum. Where you keep your brackets you can trim more after you have fitted them. Have a look in the gallery at some original suits and you can see where they left return and how much.
  10. As I understood it, CAP recast TE, but then TE ran sold off all his moulds "getting out of the game", and later changed his mind, so to get new moulds, he recast CAP (or himself kind of) which is also how CAP got his "approval" from TE. CFO I think bought the oakley moulds from Cameron. It wasn't that long ago, and I think Mark made a thread about it when it happened. Yes, as far as I know, T/MC is GF2 recast.
  11. I got it from one of his ebay auctions. And I did post it up in the staff forum. In a thread related to the subject. Let me see if I can find it for you. Here it is: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/14878-tk4510-helmets-armor/page-6#entry224739
  12. Like this?
  13. Looks like this is settled then. Do you two want to keep your posts, or should I move or deleted/hide them to steer the thread back on topic?
  14. There are progress pictures of the kid suits and they look just as accurate. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  15. That does not really extend to what NE did though, as at least one RS bicep and one forearm plus various extra parts that were missing were fan-sculpts from the ground up.
  16. Better. But you still want to clean up all the edges with some sanding paper to make it real smooth and sit flat. Get rid of all the burrs.
  17. We are not allowing NE to promote their wares on FISD, RS knows about it and has the option to complain to the legion council, which they are aware that they can do, and have not yet as far as I do. MEPD asked NE not to advertise on their site as well. And there are some rumblings on the legion forum, which n doubt will increase after people read this thread. So to say we are not doing anything, that's mostly because RS has not asked the legion to do anything yet. Not that I'm sure what would be done, but still.
  18. It's not as straight forward as you think changing a thread starter. But I did edit you post to reflect that it's not you who started this tread.
  19. I have seen others do much worse. I know it's a big forum, just stay calm and keep looking. Eventually you will find just the right thread or section.
  20. There are plenty of threads dedicated to those questions here http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/4-assembly-mods-and-painting/
  21. You end caps are far too "long". Trim them to about 2 cm. Have a look at the RS original detonator in our gallery: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/gallery/image/2484-td/
  22. I've split the NE vs RS posts into a new thread to keep this more on topic. Moved posts are found here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/26419-ne-vs-rs/
  23. Sheet metal scissors is way overkill for the thin RS plastic. Lexan scissors however cut it like butter. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
