Is TE2 armor still being produced? Does he now make ABS as well as HIPS? I can't seem to be able to send HDPblues a msg.

Interesting, Frank. Thanks! On the subject of shades of color, which armor builder, in your opinion, makes a shade closest to the orirignal ANH movie armor (I'm guessing RS is disqualified since it basically IS the original)? If this is taken up on another thread, apologies in advance.

Taking the TM/ATA comparison a bit further... I love the TM armor, it's a beautiful piece of art, but due to finances I was considering ATA armor with a TM helmet (the TM helmet is the best, IMHO). The question is, to all you ATA and TM owners, would the color shade be off with these 2 components combined?

Hi, was wondering if there were any updates about types of armor? I understand AM armor is no longer being made and replaced with the NE version and am curious what the "take" on this armor is. Does anyone know if the NE upgrade makes the helmet a little more accurate (as this was a downside to the AM armor)?

I keep reading on the threads that the TM armor is expensive but no info on price is given. What are the approximate costs of the different TK armors (AP, ATA, TE2, TM, etc)? Thanks again, everyone!

Also, I see a lot of the posts on TM armor as pretty dated and I read one where Paul was not producing anymore. Is he still in the TM armor crafting business or did he close up shop?

Thanks for the great info, Frank. I see a lot of people selling the helmets seperately. When you buy an armor kit does it typically come with the helmet or is it "outside" the kit usually? Thanks again.

First off, let me state that I am an armor newbie. I've never build or bought a TK costume but have read many of the threads so as a little knowledge in the hands of a newbie is probably dangerous, let me apologize in advance if my question seems laughable to any of the seasoned veteran troopers out there who have fought in the Outer Rim. I like the ESB style armor the best and that is what I'd like to wear. It seems to me that the armor kits for sale are mainly ANH derivatives so how does one acquire an ESB style costume? Is it a matter of buying an ANH costume and modifying it to an ESB? Or does only the helmet need modified? Or are there sellers out there of kits for the ESB style? Is my question a moot point since the ANH armor was basically recyled for shooting ESB? Am I under the influence of a Sith Lord that is clouding my judgement? Thanks for reading!
