  1. Ya Phil it took a very long time for mine to arrive. I had actually given up hope. I posted about it here on February 12th which is when I placed the order. I only just received it 2 weeks ago. I dont know if thats normal, but I do know anything shipping from asia can vary widely in time. I have not trooped with it yet but am pleased that it looks and feels sturdy and arrived in one piece!
  2. This looks like the one I think. http://www.ixradio.com/shop/throat-microphone-with-straight-3.5mm-connector-direct-mic-for-voice-amplifier-recorder.html Thank you Adam
  3. I have an ICOM and an AKER and am looking for a throat mic as well! It looks like all the links being supplied here are dead now. Any tips on where to find a compatible throat mic? Thanks in advance.
  4. Sent some almost worthless Loonies your way!

  6. I will be there! Rob Turner TK-7802 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Does the same hold true for Bucket sizes? I have a legion mate that has the old FX full set, but he wants to upgrade the helmet to todays Legion standards. Is RT the way to go? He has a very LARGE CRANIUM!
  8. coming along great Andrea! As you can see the FISD rocks for support! Dont hesitate to ask anything. Odds are pretty much guaranteed that you will find someone with the answer.
  9. Yea drill from the head out. So from the inside of the belt to the outside in your case. Should be a nice hole in the rivet head where the mandrel pulled out.
  10. The rivet can go really anywhere. It will get covered by the ear. Dont sweat it too much if you have to offset the rivet to accommodate the screw. The screw is the one that people will see so give it priority. As long as you get one rivet near the top and one near the bottom you should be good. I ran into the same issue with my helmet but didnt realize until after I had already put the rivets in. Luckily it all worked out. But the only way anyone could ever tell how close it came to being a mess is by looking inside.
  11. if you dont have an awl or specific center punch tool just pick up any old rusty nail you might have laying around and give it a little tap on the aluminium to make a tiny indent to give your drill bit something to bite into.
  12. Thank you all. Paul I saw you at CV. You look good man. Top notch. We are always more critical of ourselves.
  13. THanks guys Gloves and guards are on order. Ive got brads waiting to replace the ammo belt rivets and the crotch snap. And a replacement left shin guard so I can glue the sniper plate on as well.

T/MC has been a great kit. Please keep in mind that Im planning on hitting Centurion if I make EIB. So any comments or advice will be most welcome.
  15. thanks you two. Oh Karin did my Handgaurds make it out in your last batch?
  16. Hey gang anyone know where to find ear replacements? Im going for the Hero version so need only 3 bumps on the ears. My helmet is an AP. Ive sent AP a message but in the meantime are there other leads?
  17. Was a week to canada
  18. Hello I have one of your AP helmets. I want to make it a Hero helmet. But I think I need only 3 bumps on the ears, the ears that came with the helmet have 4 bumps. Do you supply hero versions?

  19. lookin good Gaz! Id say raise up that brow trim on the forehead a bit. Are the shoulder straps free floating at the rear? Looks like they are velcro down in the pics. Not sure if the free floating is an EIB requirment though.
  20. Wow thats a great mod! I can just imagine the magic you would work on a kit! Amazing! For Centurion you could get the new Doopydoos full kit. Im just wrapping mine up now and will post completed pics tommorow. I think its top of the line for a resin kit. And it really wasnt that expensive. Heres a copy of my order: Description: STORMTROOPER E-11 COMPLETE ANH E-11 BLASTER KIT OFFER Item Price: GBP 39.99 Qty: 1 Total: GBP 39.99 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sub Total: GBP 39.99 Delivery(america and canada): GBP 17.97 Total: GBP 57.96 57 pounds is basically 100 dollars. Not much more than the Hasbro + doopydoo kit really. Basically for 40 bucks more than the Hasbro + kit you can get a centurion quality kit.
  21. Thanks for these great shots Vern. Used this alot to help me make my kit. what color do you recomend for finish coat? Satin, Gloss or flat Black?
  22. The only thing I used a dremmel for was on the teeth and eyes of the helmet. For everything else I used Tin snips. Red handle and Green handle (Lefts and rights) Safer, cleaner and much easier than a dremel or a knife in my opinion.
