Hey guys I just got back from a trip to Disney World. Had a great time and ofcourse went straight to Hollywood studios and StarTours. After the ride there is a gift shop and In it they have all kinds of starwars nick nacks. But they also had this: So if your wondering where to find an Hasbro E-11 or DL-44 and you are near Orlando or know someone who is.. (Picture quality is terrible but its an entire shelf wall full of blasters. I believe the price was $24.95 USD

Thanks for sharing! Canada has a rich and decorated history that is often forgotten or downplayed. Its great to see this sort of thing to remind us all of the sacrifices that are and were being made.

Thanks guys, Electrician will be coming this week to disconnect the lights so I can remove them and the old rotting drywall thats there. Then Ill be gutting the place so that the Electrician can come back and ruff in some recepticles and a couple power feeds for a exhaust fan and a unit heater. Ill update as things happen. Great suggestions and I will be incorporating as many as possible.

Ok so I own my own home and it has a garage. Something Ive only used to store old belongings and other junk that I will never look at again. Until now.... After working on my TK armor and doing 90% of the work on the kitchen table I decided it was time to turn the garage into a usefull building! Its time to create the ultimate TK workshop!!! So I thought it would be fun to share that process here. I will be taking pics along the way of the work I do. Starting with where it is today. So thats what Ive got. Its about 20X20. Ive already done ALOT of cleanup. Its hard to believe but you couldnt see the floor at all before I took 5 half ton loads of junk, scrap and clothing to the dump, recyle or salvation army. I tossed 12 garbage bags of completely good clothing that I will never where again into the Salvation Army bin! Im in the process of removing all the old chipboard walls and insulation. And also the lights and drywall on the cieling will be coming down. So what Im asking is for your feedback and ideas. What should every self respecting TK shop have? What do you have? Any ideas would be great as I dont want to forget anything. This garage will primarily be for Star wars costuming and memorabilia. It will be lighted and heated. Let the fun begin!

Slow down or you will end up with another piece of crap or get ripped off or stuck with something you cannot even use. Research and take your time. Ask questions here. Just dont rush off and buy the first thing you see. -

I am one of the guys that stuck with the rubies. I went for RotJ with it. I got a kick butt helmet from a seller on this forum. Iam definetly getting another set of armor and will just be getting a manequin for my Rubies armor. What I can tell you is that modding the rubies armor cost as much as buying a new set of good quality armor. For a first time armor modder starting with no tools, equipment or materials the $$$ really piles up fast. I can also tell you that my decision to mod the rubies armor paved my way into this hobby. Ive been able to take a wealth of advice and tips from here in my battle to mod the rubies. And the skills and no-how Ive gotten from the work have given me alot of confidence for my future builds. -

Heres some pics of my RotJ lid all finished. Just waiting on a set of MICH pads for the inside. The helmet was repainted in a bisquit color and new decals and paint details added. Bad lighting and Im a poor photographer, Ive shown some with flash and some without. If anyone knows how to resize the one with me wearing the helmet Id love to be able to use that for my avatar here on the forums!
