  3. thanks you two. Oh Karin did my Handgaurds make it out in your last batch?
  4. Hey gang anyone know where to find ear replacements? Im going for the Hero version so need only 3 bumps on the ears. My helmet is an AP. Ive sent AP a message but in the meantime are there other leads?
  5. Hello I have one of your AP helmets. I want to make it a Hero helmet. But I think I need only 3 bumps on the ears, the ears that came with the helmet have 4 bumps. Do you supply hero versions?

  6. Had a blast trooping the local comic shop. It was a first time event for all the other troopers and the Chewbacca! Was a huge success with over $400 dollars raised for local childrens organization.
  7. lookin good Gaz! Id say raise up that brow trim on the forehead a bit. Are the shoulder straps free floating at the rear? Looks like they are velcro down in the pics. Not sure if the free floating is an EIB requirment though.
  8. Wow thats a great mod! I can just imagine the magic you would work on a kit! Amazing! For Centurion you could get the new Doopydoos full kit. Im just wrapping mine up now and will post completed pics tommorow. I think its top of the line for a resin kit. And it really wasnt that expensive. Heres a copy of my order: Description: STORMTROOPER E-11 COMPLETE ANH E-11 BLASTER KIT OFFER Item Price: GBP 39.99 Qty: 1 Total: GBP 39.99 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sub Total: GBP 39.99 Delivery(america and canada): GBP 17.97 Total: GBP 57.96 57 pounds is basically 100 dollars. Not much more than the Hasbro + doopydoo kit really. Basically for 40 bucks more than the Hasbro + kit you can get a centurion quality kit.
  9. Thanks for these great shots Vern. Used this alot to help me make my kit. what color do you recomend for finish coat? Satin, Gloss or flat Black?
  10. The only thing I used a dremmel for was on the teeth and eyes of the helmet. For everything else I used Tin snips. Red handle and Green handle (Lefts and rights) Safer, cleaner and much easier than a dremel or a knife in my opinion.
  11. Same with mine. Cover strip will hide it and so will the ammo band on the right
  12. Nothing has changed. Hasbros are still 501st acceptable and they are also EIB acceptable with a DOopydoos kit. The only place they are not accepted is for the Centurion badge. These tiers exist to give everyone a level of accuracy to strive for IF they so desire.
  13. Impressive.... Most Impressive. One thing you could do that would close up the black showing at your armpit area is shorten the strapping connecting the shoulder bells to your armor. Make the top tips of the bells practically touch the shoulder bridges. But thats just a personal preference. You look awesome either way.
  14. Wow! Fantastic work Rob. No seam on the Ab/kidney connection. Thats really awesome!
  15. Ordered up a E-11 blaster kit and some of Karin's hand gaurds. Then Ill be working on the finishing touches for EIB and Centurion badges. While I wait I will chill in the kitchen..... And bake a stuffed pork chop.....
  16. You are on your way! Don't forget proper Rotj greeblies for the blaster. Rotj e11 does not have hengstler counter either. Smitty here on the forums is who I got my greeblies From
  17. Congrats guys this is awesome! I want to get my t/mc in here soon! Just need an acceptable blaster before I submit
  18. Heres a few things quick Blaster (Doopydoos has full kits and Hasbro or pipe conversion kits) Leather holster (Can be found here in the Commisary) Belt (Commisary) Snaps (http://www.rochfordsupply.com/shop/Fasteners/Snap_Fasteners/Snap_Fastener_Buttons/index.html is where I get mine) Split rivets or brads A small sheet of ABS white plastic or HIPS for making snap plate. I got mine from a local sign shop. But some hardware stores will carry it. Accurate Hovi mic tips. I believe the AP ones are not EIB acceptable (Commisary) Replacement green tinted welding shield for the eyes depending on what the AP comes with. Any local welding supply house will carry these. Humbrol or Testors model paint for the helmet and ab plate details. Boots (TKboots) Fabric for strapping: 1 inch black webbing get like 10 feet to start. 1 inch black elastic 5 feet for sure 1.5 inch white webbing for the shoulder connections. Just need a foot or 2. Get some plastic weld too. Its nice to use on the inside of the armor in addition to the E6000 or whatever other glue you are using. I wouldnt use it too much on the outside as it can be visible and does "Melt" the plastic in order to do its job. Ill add more as I think of it. You will find that you always forget something and need to make another run to the stores. lol
  19. I think the Centurion program is going to evolve over time to include more details. But thats going to take polls and concensus and discussion first. As the requirments stand right now I believe Mathias has covered everything required. Nowhere does it state a cocking lever is a must have. Its certainly something worth adding in the requirments as a Should have at least. But right now its not clear. And Im sure knowing Mathias he will strive to get everything as accurate as possible. His work is top notch and Im sure hell add that detail. But for Centurion requirments as required right now hes a pass. Its also important for the program that troopers DO point out inaccuracies so that we can identify them for discussion in the hope that we continually improve our standards.
