I will agree that the quality is good and probably very durable...it would have to be unless they had a staff repearing armor here and there, they just look different (and not in a bad way just different)

It's funny how now I look at these photos and say to myself that is all wrong...I mean yeah it looks like a TK but it looks like a mish mash of different style armors. It's too bad we aren't allowed to mix with the crowds...I understand the whole "special training" thing but seriously, we represent LFL when we are doing these things they should give us a little credit.

Fronts on legs are ABS glued, back with industrial velcro. Arms are velcro, knee plate riveted, thigh utility belt is industrial velcro, shoulder straps velcro (though I plan on changing that, velcro has not been holding well becaus of ridges. That's a basic run down of me.

I used a piece of ABS and some snap buttons

I like to stand guard duty and watch people go by, giving them nods, waves etc. I also like waving at kids and shaking their hands while I'm patrolling around. I obviously like standing at a choke point and tell people to "move along" that always gets a smile. And finally I love pushing my kids around in the stroller. It gives mom a break and puts me in an everyday situation that people find humorous.

That is the bomb! (do people still use that phrase?) Anyways, my GWL has not yet updated my profile I think with my leaving the garrison because of my reassignment to a new base I'm probably not high on his priority list compared to those folks that are permanent residents.

Looks great mate! 2 things I saw, your T-tracks on the counter side look odd becasue I can see the holes near the folding stock. Are you missing one? Second, could you post a pic of your back more clearly showing your seperated tail and kidney plate? It was something that was asked of me so I figure it's a "better make sure you have it" kind of thing.

Something to keep in mind original helmets were not painted on the inside so if you have dark enough lenses then you don't have to worry about painting. Though I will say nice jobs like the one above make everyone drooll so if you have the inclination go for it!! Be warned though some of the stuff that folks use to line the helmets requires it to be heated and I know a guy who unfortunately warped his very nice expensive helmet trying to line it too quickly.

Wow talk about armor hiding all sorts of iniquities...you wear 210 like a pro. Are you doing that trooper fit club thing? Actually I talked to a friend today who said he dropped 36 lbs in 10 weeks and I asked him how he did it and honestly I was shocked because it truly did involve outrageous calorie burning workout routines with very very low calorie intake. all I could say was "good on you dude!!!"

It fits really well, you have to stack pieces but there is enough room to add towels for cushion

What I'm wondering about was the hand holding...do we have the same "don't ask, don't tell" policy in the Det? Anyways, absolutely great pictures!!! You gotta love the expressionless trooper face surrounded by smiles.
