  4. Hello, My name is Dorian, 52 Years old and I live in Colorado. I watched Star Wars when it first arrived in theaters in Germany. Since then I have been a big fan and the original trilogy was a huge part of my life growing up. I will never forget the day my friend and I walk into a comic book store in my hometown and they had a full life size Stormtrooper on display. It was for sale but of course well beyond our lunch money we had available. But from that day on my dream has always been to own my own suit. Well, only 40 Years later my dream came true. I stumbled upon this website researching how the armor should look like and where to buy it. That's when I realized my first mistake because I bought a full suit from stormtrooperstore.com. The armor didn't fit and didn't quite look right. My plan was to "fix it". The more research I did the more I realized I might as well buy a new kit. So, I order my TK ANH kit from RS Propmasters, watched all the videos (many times) and started working on my suit. After many months, I am almost done. I am still waiting on new shoes (keeptrooping.com) and I am on the lookout for a good blaster. Maybe a new neckseal as well. I am happy I landed in this forum. Thank you for accepting my membership request. Cheers! -Dorian

  5. Thank you very much! I just signed up and will go through the topics on what to do next and how to join. My shoes arrive tomorrow (and hopefully fit). With that I can complete my suit. I am happy to move forward. Thank you again.

  6. I agree with Glen, they should be trimmed down. If you look closely, the yellow arrow shows a suggested ridge. The line shows the least I would trim. The other two examples (RS bucket) are how much you can trim. Just follow the contour of the cheeks like you did and you should be golden!

  11. I would trim a little more, they are a little thick, compare with the images I posted previously, remember what every is touching is what you need to trim so it comes in further.

  12. It's a resin printed (huge) stud. I used Elegoo's clear red resin in my Saturn2. I think I printed four of them before I got a good one. Hollowed out in chitu box with the breathing hole exposed on the back edge of the stud. There's a very small gap between the black ABS and the red resin to keep it from cracking.
