  1. I think i found a possibility. I can make a straight cut at the sides, and overlap the front with the back. That will make it tighter and i just have to clean the line. Update: I have now cutted, and glueing right now. We will see in a few days how the result is, but the fitting fest looked good.

  2. I was so into my new build, trying to get it done before our last big event, now I'm eh, I'll get to it eventually. Guess that's the problem with having a working kit already. Sent from my SM-N981U1 using Tapatalk

  3. As Glen mentioned, lifting the cover strip as you go from one to another should be enough to get it free. If you can't get it started, use an Xacto knife to cut jut enough glue to allow for leverage when lifting. Just be careful to not scratch the surface of visible areas. This is the reason E6000 glue is recommended for a build. You can disassemble the pieces much more easily than with other glues, yet it holds really well under the pressures of trooping!

  4. Some painting updates. Im painting the golden cracks and do weathering when the chestplate is ready, to make it all the same. Kama still the old, but the size of the parts look good i think. Probably have to make the main belt bigger.

  5. The way I’ve been drafting it on Enoch, which is based on this draft, is lvl1 can be painted on lvl2 engraved but can be paint and then lvl 3 is engraved and “gold coloured leaf”. Doesn’t have to be actual gold, but leaf does look very different to paint so I think is a valid step up for the top level. This applies to cracks and patches. Once cleared if you need to make repairs then how you handle that is going to be based on personal choice, what you have to hand, time and cost considerations. All still open to discussion, but that needs to start with something.

  9. Good evening members of the FISD, I'd like to thank you for having the confidence in me to fill the role of Detachment Leader. This is not the way any of us would want to be taking this station. Joseph has been an important part of this detachment for as long as I have been here. He embodies Troopers Helping Troopers, and has never shied away from helping others. He was a natural choice for DL. Sadly personal circumstances have made that impossible for him. I wish him the best in this difficult time he finds him self in. Andrew Franke @Sly11 has agreed to step in as XO. His experience is undeniable, and will be a welcome boost as I catch up with this term. Other positions will remain unchanged at this time. Having been thrown in at the deep end my priority is to get a plan for the term up and running. Wheels had already started to turn on a number of projects, though most of which are not ready to share yet. This said I do want to take a fresh look at the year, looking at any carry over from the last term and coming up with a final plan for the year. With unquestioned loyalty. Chris Detachment Leader
