  1. Hello, Troopers! On behalf of the Command staff I am proud to announce that we have a new member of the team! Chemi (TK 30173) from the Spanish Garrison will be moving from his position of Imperial Attache to Deputy Deployment Officer. As a Centurion level TK (and one heck of a nice guy) he will be working with Mario and I and using his TK expertise to approve costumes at the higher levels. I'm sure he will be a great addition to the Staff, so please join me in welcoming him to his new rank! Way to go, Chemi, and I look forward to working with you, mi hermano!

  2. Hey folks, I’m calling this JMC E-11 kit FINISHED.... (well, for now, at least) [emoji6] Yes, there are a few areas where I could go to town on parts, replace this, change that, however, this project was initially to see how the JMC E-11 kit (now known as “Kit 1”) was on delivery, how the parts went together, any feedback on how the production models of these could be improved. The only real additional part I’ve added is the scope rail (which I had already). I’ll do a summary video soon, covering various parts that I haven’t yet documented, however, my conclusion about this kit is that it is TRULY EXCELLENT!!! As I’ve said throughout, easy to work with, very well made and supplied by Marc at TroopaCoola, and an excellent final product with impeccable service. Get your order in today... [emoji6] Thanks for following the build. :-) Dan

  3. How are you planning on doing that, Greg? Some folks attach it to the pauldron, but when I did that I found that the weight kept pulling the pauldon down in the front. Instead, I now attach it to the left shoulder strap. You can rivet a strap to the rear of the pouch like you did for the side ones (but horizontally), add (sew it on if you can) a small strap to the left shoulder strap as seen below. If you do this, be sure to add 2 snaps. Trust me. It's a little extra work to do it this way, but I have had no issues and it's easy to attach/remove.

  4. Costume Update: After discussion with the Spec Ops DL, they will not be pursuing this costumes as they are working on other CRL's. If you intend to build this and become the CRL model, please make a detailed build thread complete with your research so we can move to writing the CRL once you are closing in on completion. This of course will come under the scrutiny of the LMO team as a new to legion CRL so the better the details you contain in your research and thread, the easier the pass of approval will be.

  5. Hello there, Yiyo from the Spanish Garrison here. Been actively reading and researching, and thanks to some of you folk, found the right place to open my build thread. Been a while since I opened one on the FISD, so it's great to be back. Following a couple of other builds, some seem to be new, some are older but haven't been updated in a while, so just wondering who will be modelling and presenting the new CRL, I would be happy to help whoever needs anything. Down to business: ABS armor & Resin Helmet Rogue 1 kit: Ordered 22/05/2021 from 850 Armor Works. Boots: IB. Gloves: Ordered Endor Finders 24/05/2021. Undersuit or 2 pieces: Ordered DarkSide Closet 24/05/2021. Backpack and flamethrower: Files received 22/05/20121 from Marko Makaj. Strapping and similar: all sourced locally. Paint: Montana White & most likely the same red I used for the Shocktrooper - still want to talk to other builders about this and get some advice. Rogue One style Pauldron: Ordered 24/05/2021 from Artneo. As soon as things start arriving, I will start sharing - both my printers are currently busy spitting out pieces for my T21 Heavy Blaster for the shocktrooper, so as soon as they free up, I have to print the chest and backpiece for my ICAT build, and then I will start with this build. Thanks for chipping in along the way, all advice, as always is very welcome, this will be costume 17 I think

  6. We had some sensational entries in this years Anniversary coin design competition, so thank you so very much for all those who submitted entries. Staff voted on their favorite designs through a Poll which included all designs. The winner with a total of 7 votes is Etrooper70 (Eric) Congratulations for a fantastic design Trooper, well done and thank you for your submissions Here is your winning design. We now have some more work to do to get this design approved and turned into reality so keep an eye out for future updates on how this is progressing. Thanks again to all those who took part in creating some of the best coin designs we have seen to date.

  7. Someone has to build the costume to completion then it is reviewed against reference material and if everything checks out they may then be considered as the CRL model, there also need to be a CRL written before it goes before LMO review. From the new to the legion costume guide: Typically as much time will be spent researching and looking at reference sources as it will take to make / assemble the costume. Ideally, there are clear full body pictures of the front, side, and back. Understand that a CRL undergoes many revisions by many people before publishing and that it is possible that there are multiple people working on the same costume at the same time. There are no guidelines on creating a new costume aside from reference material, and a costumer may be asked to change things multiple times. The costume will not be approved in the Membership Database until all of the steps to create the CRL are completed. The wait period from completion of costume to approval can be lengthy. The first completed costume is not always the CRL model. Sometimes multiple applicants images are used to complete a CRL Our DL has just confirmed Spec Ops will not be trying to claim this costume so it should be staying with FISD, dependent on the LMO's final say. Looking forward to seeing your build progress

Viewing all the costumes you have made (SL TLJ Kylo Ren / DZ Wampa / TX First Order Flametrooper / SL Palpatine, and your WIPS: ANH Darth Vader / Cad Bane / Imperial Transport Officer / TK Shocktrooper / TK Mandalorian Incinerator / Imperial combat assault transport driver), I am looking forward to seeing your WIP of this Remnant Incinerator. 11. I am pretty quick and detailed in builds, and have actually created, and modelled on a CRL, so no problem to help any of the various builds that are already in progress as needed. I have purchased the armor and helmet, and backpack and thrower, just waiting to start receiving stuff and will open a WIP. I will contact Romain from the FG and I think there is another active build, to see where they are at. Thanks for letting us know, would be great it have it in FISD if SOps are overwhelmed.

  13. Thanks!!!! A pleasure to work with you and Mario. A lot of work ahead, I know. But I will do my best to make the detachment much bigger (if possible). I know that you will support me, and if I need help, you will be there (as it has been since the day I registered at the Detachment ), so I am not worried. Thank you brothers.

  16. It’s possible! My Anovos ANH bucket developed a crack near the left mic tip at a thin spot. Many of us reinforce the insides with, basically, plastidip (or truck bed liner) and cloth.

  17. Descriptions starwars.com STORMTROOPERS Stormtroopers are elite shock troops fanatically loyal to the Empire and impossible to sway from the Imperial cause. They wear imposing white armor, which offers a wide range of survival equipment and temperature controls to allow the soldiers to survive in almost any environment. Stormtroopers wield blaster rifles and pistols with great skill, and attack in hordes to overwhelm their enemies. Along with standard stormtroopers, the Empire has organized several specialized units, including snowtroopers and scout troopers. Star Wars: A New Hope, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars Rebels, The Mandalorian THE NEW REPUBLIC Remnant Stormtroopers: In the aftermath of the Battle of Endor, the Empire is in disarray. Fragments of the former regime have gained footholds on distant worlds, trying to cling to what power they have. Wookieepedia Stormtroopers, nicknamed "bucketheads" and also known as Remnant Stormtroopers after the Battle of Endor, were the infantry soldiers of the Galactic Empire. The members of the Imperial Army's Stormtrooper Corps served on the frontline as elite shock troops, and their loyalty to the Empire was absolute as a result of their training. The stormtrooper armor that they wore consisted of white plastoid plates over a black body glove, and their standard weapon was the E-11 blaster rifle. In addition to the standard trooper, various specialized units such as scout troopers and snowtroopers comprised the ranks of the Stormtrooper Corps. Stormtroopers served the Empire since its inception at the end of the Clone Wars when the Sith Lord Darth Sidious declared himself Galactic Emperor. The Galactic Republic was supplanted by the Empire, and the clone troopers who formed the backbone of the Grand Army of the Republic became the first generation of Imperial stormtroopers. During the early years of the Imperial Era, the cloning operation on Kamino was shut down as the Empire turned to conscription and recruitment in order to fill the stormtrooper ranks. The remaining clones were retired from service due to their rapid aging, their legacy inherited by natural-born humans who were also trained to render total allegiance to the Emperor and his New Order. Stormtroopers were spread throughout the galaxy during the Emperor's reign, from the Imperial capital of Coruscant in the Core Worlds, to occupied planets such as Lothal and Tatooine in the Outer Rim Territories. They fought many battles against the forces of the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War, including the Battle of Scarif, the Battle of Hoth, and the Battle of Endor. Shortly before the Battle of Yavin, Princess Leia Organa was captured by stormtroopers who served under Darth Vader, the Emperor's Sith apprentice. However, Organa was rescued by Luke Skywalker and Han Solo who, disguised as stormtroopers, infiltrated the first Death Star. The Emperor stationed a legion of stormtroopers on Endor to protect the shield generator of the second Death Star, although they were defeated by the Alliance's Ewok allies. With the Emperor's death, Counselor to the Empire Gallius Rax took control of the Imperial loyalist forces which rallied to his homeworld of Jakku to make a final stand against the New Republic. After losing the Battle of Jakku, the Empire signed the Imperial Instruments of Surrender and the Galactic Concordance, and its stormtrooper forces were consequently demobilized as part of the New Republic's terms for peace. Despite this, a number of Imperial remnants continued to make use of stormtroopers as soldiers or mercenaries in the Outer Rim, including Moff Gideon's faction as well as the remnants on Morak
