Just getting going in researching all the parts and pieces but wanted to start a build thread now to document every step.
Sorry for the current lack of info just yet.

Stay tuned on my journey and looking forward to all the help I can get !

A journey of 10,000 miles starts with the first step. All the best for your build. Theres a lot of information readily available. Hope onto your local garrison site, introduce yourself and volunteer to wrangle.

Yup, I joined my local Garrison today and hoping they will ask me to help out. Looking forward to the journey even though I’m 55 years old I’m hoping I can get it done

OK...I'm Excited.

I just ordered my full TK Stunt Kit from Walts Trooper Factory. Super helpful nice guy, spoke to him at length on the phone.

Just need to sort out where to source the rest.

Hey John , great to see you're on the way to the imperial army.  Good Luck.

It would be usefull is you can make a list of the parts you need to complete your build so you can receive some  suggestions about where to find.

Looking forward for your BBB day first photos

Good Idea to create a list...Well, I need everything else but the Walts Kit at this point.

The problem with a lot of boots is they are not tall enough which causes them to slip out from under the shins when moving, they look short to me.

Gallery for boots is here for comparison

Interesting, glad I posted this here.

I started the E11 ANH 3D printing build from this link: https://www.printables.com/model/162480-sterling-smg-mk4-l2a3-and-anh-e-11-conversion/comments#makes

Still alot more to go but its a nice model. All the parts are removeable kinda like the real Sterling.

Here's a couple pics of just the start of the project:

Any feedback

You won't find a better set of files, Bryon also does files of the Rogue One blaster, you should have no issues, here's all his models https://www.printables.com/@TK14082_234773

Just remember no print lines should be showing once painted.

3D printed components must have no visible print lines and must be smooth for a realistic appearance

When posting photos firstly try to use the "direct link" option as it will have the file extension .jpg, .jpeg, .png .gif etc, etc.

Also FYI folks in the UK can't view Imgur images, I've changed to Flickr for that reason but entirely up to you.

Yup, I've been working hard to cover up all the print lines for my FDM printer. I have also been using my resin printer for the smaller more detail parts  that have writing. So far so good.

Thanks for the feedback.

Here is the Flickr album: PS: I tried to post this in the "Direct Link" button and the link area turned red and would not work.

Testing the link again

I'm not a huge fan of Flicker, but if you go the section under Share that says BBCode, you can find the direct image link in there.

Example: [url=https://flic.kr/p/2skfLxv]https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/55351863347_9576ba3d75_b.jpg[/img][/url][ url=https://flic.kr/p/2skfLxv]E11 Build[/url] by [ url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/158265263@N08/]John Nicolosi[/url], on Flickr

Pasting in just the URL I highlighted from the code, then pressing space or return will get you an embedded image as below.

Blaster is coming along nicely!

Thanks alot for the info. Ya, its too bad we cant post images directly into this forum.

Ya, I'm printing some higher detail items with my resin printer. I'll airbrush to whole blaster so as not to overload the paint so the details dont get buried.

Hello there, just wondering how your covering up the print lines? I'm considering 3D printing my blaster but have literally no experience with the printers.
