Sly11[Admin] Posted April 30 Report Posted April 30 I spoke with the Southern Cross Garrison GCO, and he has confirmed that Jafo is retired from legion. 1 Quote

themaninthesuitcase[Admin] Posted May 1 Report Posted May 1 You can source the bits for do it yourself, I have had these in a watch list for years UK links but I am sure US eBay will have the same stuff once you know what to get neoprene https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/373396396391?var=642416596195 wasn't sure what thickness though, 3-5mm, but I'd need to reference hunt. rubber ribbing https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402300779926?var=672255164758 Then you'd need some black 50mm/2" webbing a clip and a couple of Chicago screws iirc. 1 Quote

Thank you for that. I was looking to see if there were any good youtube videos of builds. I'll add this to my watch list as well. Quote

shashachu[TK] Posted May 2 Report Posted May 2 I used Ruthar's build when assembling my belt. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/42295-ruthars-first-order-stormtrooper-build/page/3/#comment-585764 1 Quote
ukswrath[Staff] Posted May 2 Report Posted May 2 Depending on how accurate you want your build to be, I'd be happy to supply some photos. For the example, regarding the front/center boxes, the base, or the side that is facing the belt is supposed to be curved. Many builders and suppliers do not emphasize this. Here's a screen accurate photo 1 Quote
FUZZMA[TK] Posted May 3 Report Posted May 3 For the belt i should still have a bunch of ribbed material I can cut some out and send to you. get this foam for the middle layer. We use it in Mountain Garrison for all our FO builds. It’s not heavy, soft but thick to give it the right depth. - https://a.co/d/01hKdfWR the inner layer is just 2in nylon with 2in buckles. You Chicago screw one side and the other I size and stitch or glue together for final assembly. 3 Quote

jsilvius[Staff] Posted May 4 Author Report Posted May 4 So watching a few videos and looking at some other build threads and comparing them to what I have, I can see that I'm missing a few part. I'm missing the knees and the lower back/kidney plate. So it looks like I'm going to have to aquire those piece before I can proceed. That's a bit disappointing. 1 Quote
jsilvius[Staff] Posted May 20 Author Report Posted May 20 Added another part to check off of my list of items. I still have to print a few things, and work with a very kind offer from another member to secure a few missing pieces. Hopefully I'll get this build going in the next few weeks. 1 Quote
jsilvius[Staff] Posted May 26 Author Report Posted May 26 with my many thanks to @shashachu, I shall soon have all the parts needed to start the build. With the coin shipping getting close to done, and the Mando and Grogu movie troops out of the way, I should hopefully be able to start building very soon. Thanks again to everyone that has offered to help! I may still call upon you for your assistance as I move through this build. 1 Quote
jsilvius[Staff] Posted May 27 Author Report Posted May 27 I do have the blaster printed. Just working on finishing it properly. It is a little rough currently. But figured it was something I could do while waiting to start the actual build. Sent from my SM-S938U using Tapatalk 2 Quote
