Alright Andrew let's get you approved. Welcome and thank you for your EIB application.

CRL and EIB Application Requirements:

All submission photos have been posted. Thank you for fixing the side shims as requested. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Beautiful job on your build sir    :salute:

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:

In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. We have a couple minor suggestions to mention here. Areas to work on to enhance the overall accuracy and look of your armor. Starting at the top and working our way down 1) The lower ears appear to be a bit thick. It's not a deal breaker but worth mentioning.

2) The shoulder bells should be closer to the chest and back plates. Tighten the straps and or removing additional lower return edge should bring them closer.

3) Shoulder cover on the right side is underneath the back plate. We're sure this is a simple photo issue and we're suggesting you correctly position on top of the back plate.

4) Vertical Ab button surface should be smaller than the raised area it's glued to. Giving the edges a trim should do the trick.

5) There should be little to no gap between the back and kidney plates. This could be a simple strapping adjustment fix.

6) Next up it looks like your sniper knee corner is sticking out a bit, risking getting snagged on something. We're suggesting you trim this back a bit. See reference photo

7) We have a couple issues with the Thermal detonator. First the ends of the clips should reside just below the control panel and lastly the mounting screws should be pan head and slotted.

Centurion Suggestions:

Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. From what we can see, the only item that stands out is your drop box positioning. They should be aligned with the outer most edge of the ammo belt and just below it with little to no gap. Gluing the drop box strap to the cloth belt should help keep them in place.

For level three certification (if applicable):

  • Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box.

Lastly there can only be one seam between the Ab and Kidney as per the CRL.
For level three certification (if applicable): Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. A single visible seam line is present.

Before applying for Centurion you'll have to permanently fix your side shims and conceal the connection seam so that only one seam is present.
