Looking good!  It's exciting getting to this stage for sure.   Sounds like you are already working on the holster;  you could tighten up the gap between the back and kidney a bit;  I had to make the same adjustment on mine after my EIB pics.

Hey Brian- Looking really good!

Not sure it makes much of a difference, but because your already gonna be working on the holster attachment it seems to be attached really high on the belt. You could drop those rivets down on the belt to about 1/2" off the bottom:

Picard has sent another set of boots my way, evil boy fans on order, strapped my biceps and forearms last night from all the reading I did about that yesterday, fixed my holster. Ill take some more pics later on.

I'd look at bringing down your thighs a little, shorten the gap around your knees. Looking good

observational note I got from a few pro's on my FB page.

1. I know I screwed up on my rivets for my holster, they are too high. Im afraid to drill more holes in my belt, fix, or dont worry about it too much?

2. I have my biceps and forearms strapped weird, they keep twisting, I know what I have to do to fix that.

3.Trying to lower my back plate to take up the gap it has on the kidney plate. Not sure how to correct. It pulls bad on the front and looks weird if I lower it, suggestions?

4. My belt is crooked, have to adjust the front snaps on it.

This was all getting suited up with no help, wife is sick and Im sure a second set of hands wold help getting fit properly.

Looks great! Just some minor adjustments or new straps and it will be EIB ready too...for basic I would say you are pretty much there.

I had the same lateral centering problem with the Back to Kidney alignment. I had to remove and remount the snap plates on mine to shift the Back plate more visually centered.

In your case the only way you can close the Back/Kidney gap is to raise the Butt/Kidney up slightly and lengthen the shoulder strapping to allow the Back to drop down a little too. The added benefit will to allow the Chest to drop as well.

May I suggest to lower your thighs, it should close up the knee gaps more.

Keep us in the loop.

It looks like the thigh ammo pack is mounted a little high. The rivet needs to be in the top corner. I tried to find a reference pic.... Maybe someone has quicker access to a photo. Otherwise it looks awesome!

I close dup the back as best as I could( Wearing a regular black shirt under for these pics, my under armor was getting washed by my Imperial Goddess)

then I decided to see how the boots felt on a long walk so I did what any other normal person would do around these parts, and took the dog for a 1.5 mile hike around the neighbor hood.

Thanks for the side by side. I thought they were much more similar since they have common roots. But I guess not.
I may consider building an ATA helmet to see if it gives me some more distance between the lower "chin" and my chest piece.

I'm vertically challenged compared to most of my other local TK peers and having a neck that is shorter than most creates a small chin gap making it more difficult to look downward. :laugh1:
