Well opinions vary but I think an important question is to ask yourself are you going for 501st acceptance or one of the awarded levels, EIB or Centurion. The awarded levels require particular kinds of gloves. But the costume requirements say that the fingers must be non-textured. On the other hand, the picture that is used as an illustration of the gloves on the costume requirements also has some texture on the fingers! Do you know what the deal with finger texture is? Is it OK after all? Or when they say texture, are they talking about something other than the kind of bumpy texture I'm talking about? I was wondering if the black tattooist gloves might work. Any thoughts? Thanks! If that is the really skin tight vinyl gloves like doctors use, I really wouldn't recommend it.
