  1. You should really follow the instructions in my post, i.e.: run in safe mode, run rkill, etc. This will get rid of the "items that could not be removed". Otherwise I think they may come back to haunt you. I don't think you even have to download something to get this. It's as simple as visiting a site where someone has placed an ad with malicious code in it. Some people suck.
  2. I was hit with this on my work computer recently. Follow the directions at this link and you should be fine. Worked for me. Good luck!
  3. Those are really sharp. Very well done. What are they made of?
  4. I did not know that.
  5. I just received my belt that I ordered early last month from him. I think he'll come thru for you.
  6. The interwebs is a beautiful thing!
  7. Michaels, Home Depot, and some WalMarts have it too. I googled it and found some people found it at a place called Canadian Tire. You can always buy it online, of course. Good luck!
  8. So glad I wasn't.
  9. Fourth. E6000, hands down the best way to go IMHO. It's amazing, it says so on the tube.
  10. I am cranially gifted at 7-3/8 and I can twist my ATA lid on with no problem. Avoid the FX helmet for many reasons.
  11. Merely a size joke WC. Nothing more.
  12. The new FX lid is coming along nicely. I KID, I KID! Woodchuck, your talents know no bounds! As a one-time woodworker I am in constant envy of your skills. Your shop must be amazing! It's a good thing you are just far enough away from me that I can't stop by, I may never leave!
  13. AKA snaps-on-tabs
  14. Thanks for the kind words. ATA kits do need to be painted btw. There are def. no shortcuts allowed with this kit if you want it right. :-) Progress has been slowish... I gotta get my butt in gear. Only 52 days until C5... that's not as long as it sounds!
  15. Wow, you are making it way too easy for the newbie-newbies. This newbie did a lot of digging and cloak & dagger research to learn all this.
  16. Can somebody confirm this? If so, I may have my biceps switched. No biggie, I know.
  17. Well heck, if velcroing the thighs is good enough for Paul and Noel its good enough for me. :-)
  18. 2nd build planned, and I haven't even finished my first yet!
  19. Yeah, I meant free ones. I'm thinking dollar stores might have some for 4th of July. I'll have to check and report back.
  20. Where abouts here in the US?
  21. No worries, Matt. That's how we roll. Now spill! I'm hoping its a low cost fan and/or sound system source. Those are some of the last pieces I need for my build and my budget is running pretty tight.
  22. I see on another post you had concerns about your fiance's AM armor being too large for you. I believe you will have the same issues with an FX kit because they are the same maker.
  23. and I don't think you can expect someone to simply charge the cost of materials and shipping. A persons time is worth something, after all.
