  5. It looks a little odd to me...something not quite right about the look. The original helmets were Hdpe and abs They are so much better than fiberglass buckets You might also find Hips as another material that a helmet is made of. Go for te2 or ap They are your best bet. Also if you buy a helmet that is second rate you will never be happy. As you learn more about helmets you will be able to tell the difference. reference cheers

  7. Guys always wait 6 weeks after painting before waxing as you will ruin your hard work. Also halfords in the uk do colour magic and ive heard you can get good results with this product. cheers

  15. Sounds like your over heating the plastic and its stretching over that point. How do you judge temperature, is by time or by droop/sag? Also plastics like paint vary slightly , even from the same manufacturer. Try different times and compare the results. Also make the holes a touch bigger (eye sockets)toward the centre ridge. keep us posted. hope this helps cheers

  17. .80 is the thickness you want. Normally its A.B.S or you could use H.I.P.S Are you vac-forming this~? Any pictures of progress?? cheers
