  14. Ok guys, Ive ben getting some friendly advice from TM, so ive been starting to re-do the arm pieces. Right since ive last been here ive been working on some advice from anh trooper I managed to save the clay from the previous mold and i carved off the ladder section. I also made a few adjustments and took off the edging strips. I then Made a moldcase of the front arm under piece. Then once i had the mold cases i adjusted inside the arm piece with the lladder section by adding some clay. One remolded the ladder section will have "dissapeared" The plaster mix was made by sifting plaster through my fingers into the water. Its added to the point when little islands appear. I leave it for 5 minutes before a quick mix then pour into the molds Then ive redone the ladder section with 12 bits on the left arm piece. I will do the right arm piece ladder section after work tomorrow. Then its onto making molds again. cheers
  15. Is it my imagination but every time i see this, to me it sounds like william shatner. It looks a bit naff as a film as well. Glad it was better on the big screen. I saw it in the centre of london at the dominium theatre on totenham court road when it had just come out. I was blown away not just by the film ,but the quality of the sound and the images. I think i saw it about 18 times at different cinemas. Everybody i know thought i was mad. It only seems like yesterday as well. cheers
  16. your list looks very interesting Pepster3D i love film soundtracks as well.... favouriote ones are Lord of the rings BLADERUNNER (no 1) dances with wolves The piano Star wars Pulp fiction the devils rejects close encounters The wicker man golden eye These are not films -The snow goose_spike milligan - War of the worlds - jeff wayne cheers
  17. Graham sorry to see your fingers in a bad way. Have you tried the score and snap method to trim? Also ive seen people trim most off then leave a bit and dremmel sand it. This might help you. cheers

  21. Mate that is serious bad news,,, really sorry to hear that. If i lived closer i would take you out for a pint or two. Life can be hard at times, but im a firm believer that things happen for a reason. sometime in the future you will look back and think that they did you a big favour. Ive been made reduntent in a job before,,, it was horrible at the time(in fact it was one of the worst feelings) also When i split up with my wife and kids i thought it was the end of the world, but now im a lot happier and i more or less can do what i want, when i want. (still see the kids every wednesday and other weekends) Hope you can see the light at the end of the tunnel dude. If i can help in any way, you know where to find me. keep your chin up son cheers mate
  22. That would be very helpfull. cheers
  23. Heres some pics of the plaster cast that came from the mold. I had to do a little bit of touching up as there were some bumps and lines that shouldnt be there. These pictures show the mold compared to a piece of fx armor Ive started on the other section to the forearm. Im using the existing clay to build upon. cheers
