  4. Great stuff and it was good to meet you in person ..... see you at the next one Troopermaster cheers
  5. I would say that if you have photographic proof of the sculpting process, then that is enough. Its not an easy route at all to take, and i wish you all the luck. Even trooper master is always updating his molds. You will always notice different things from photographs. Where the FX fails in my mind is that its not as organic as the screen used armor. If you need help just ask and please keep us all updated as you progress. cheers
  6. Hi guys, saw these and thought they looked good for an undersuit. -------
  7. easiest and cheapest is the the t-shirt/superglue method. Safety warning first. 1) some fumes will come from the glue to do not breath in 2) wear some sergical/rubber gloves. Use some masking tape on the outside to hold the split together. On the inside of the calf do the following... Cut a piece of white t-shirt twice the size of the split. superglue around the crack, place the square of t-shirt over this and press down then soak the t shirt in superglue.( you might need to press down on the t shirt) Leave to set Then just remove the masking tape from the other side and scrape/file/sand any glue that may have leaked through. hope that helps cheers
  8. Congrats Dan....outstanding helmet. You deserve it mate. Nothing but the best for you sir. Looking forward to seeing more pics soon cheers

  14. Obviously these will need re-dying but they will be more comfortable than squeezing in to a size 12, which is more or less the only other options i've found over the years. --------

  20. Paul, this is just an idea..... Have you tried Yellow food colouring in water. Put a sample of sponge in for a while till it "takes" the colour and then rinse till the colour doesnt bleed any more. Then dry. You can get food colouring from most supermarkets for about 39p. I use it normally for colouring rice when cooking. It might be worth a bash. cheers
  21. good work trooper. Will you be posting any more pics for us all? Cheers
  22. Congrats on the elite status. Another tip that would make you look even better is to adjust the positioning of the shoulder bells. They show too much black from the front and are very tight at the back. Its almost as if the stapping is pulling them too far backwards. Heres a comparison. Ive adjusted the left bell and the left thigh piece. Also if you raise the calfs a bit then it wont cover the sniper plate. This is not a critisism just a guide to help you look even better than you do. cheers
  23. Great videos Mike. These will help lots of people out. Thanks for sharing cheers
  24. Mike, you truley are a gentleman, and one of the best skilled people around. Its brilliant that the other guys chipped in with Donations. I just love all the work and dedication that you put into projects. One of the main things i love are the painting jobs you do. Kent, you are a very lucky guy and i look forward to pictures of what else you do to this "king of helmets" cheers
