He is also a known recaster although lets face it, thats the lesser of the reasons not to buy from him.

Glad to help and to spread the word about this low life.

Thanks to the kind donations made by members here and in my home Garrison I too will shortly have a set of TM also. Would be foolish not to go for EIB status and also another way I can thank them. -
According to the 501st home page there are currently 2165 TK's in the Legion. As for the 99th,I'm guessing he means the Imperial 99th from here in the UK. Its another costuming group set up a few years back. A group I'm banned from for questioning their policy on openly recasting. The head honcho is one of those behind Chimerasales/imperial armour (jedi robe ?) on ebay. Best leave it at that as I don't want more threats of legal action coming my way. P.S the recasting discussion came about whilst trying to defend/help a new member there, who six months later went on to offer me recasted stuff. No good deed goes un punished eh? But I'm sure someone will be along to defend them/moderate this post shortly.

Thats very kind of you mate, thanks. I will have to take a few measurements and get back to you.

ANH stunt I think. As for EIB..... be daft not too. Means I will have to concede defeat and get a canvas belt though.

As my good friend and CO has announced, through the kind efforts of both the UKG and FISD I will soon be back up and trooping again. I cannot thank you all enough for your support and donations, it truely is a first class example of Troopers helping Troopers. Many , many thanks to you all. A special thanks must go out to Troopermaster, cheers mate. I owe you BIG time.

Thanks to all for your sympathies and kind offers. As of today there is still no sign of my kit, nor any word from either the event organisers/venue owners nor the police. This despite them supposedly starting the search through the CCTV footage on sunday morning. Understandably I'm not holding out much hope. Whilst I have barely visited my home garrisons forum since this happened I have recieved word that the garrison is pulling out all the stops to get me re kitted and for this I will be thanking them all profusley , when its not too painfull to visit the boards. Hopefully I will be able to put up a positive update soon. Again, thanks one and all. coz lets face it, no other group of like minded individuals would be this concerned for a fellow member.

As posted on the UKG boards: I'm afraid I'm going to kep this post purley technical in nature as to be honest I am in far to much distress right now to go in to it too deeply. Those who know me wil know how much trooping means to me, and I'm hoping the rest of you will be understanding. Helmet: RTmod. Made before Rob redid his molds last year so softer on ear details. Interior fitted out thus: Slightly unusual as vocoder painted rather than the usual black sticker. Contained Romfx in right hand cheek tube held in place by black faux leather wrap. Armour: FX ( origional source/non recast ). Shoulder bells were John Danters finest. All strapping comprised 20mm black webbing rather than elastic. All strap has double poppers at each end, including shoulder bells. ALL ARMOUR ID'D WITH TK2388 IN PERMANENT BLACK MARKER. On inside of left thigh small strip of abs araldited in to stop spead of crack. Black foam ( in bits) in forearms. Scuffing on both biceps due to age. Shins glued at front but open at back with whit industrial velcro. Thighs glued front and rear with WIDE shims in back. Shoulder bridges held in place both front and back by single fixture which had domed appearance. white soft velcro on underside of bridges to prevent scuffing. End result ( non UKG event, hence decal ): More pics can be found here:http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?v=photos&ref=profile&id=631891610 I will now retire to the background for a while.

Sadly, not a chance mate. happened the 1st night of a 2 day event.

Hi guys. Whilst attending the Memorabillia event with the UKG in Birmingham this past weekend our supposedly secure changing area was entered and I had 90% of my TK stolen, comprising Rtmod helmet replete with romfx, John Danter shoulder bells and the rest FX parts. Suit was NOT insured. Could I please ask for people to keep their eyes open on Ebay. with this in mind it may be a while before I post again on the FISD , as there is no way I am in a financial position to replace any of my kit at this time or in the forseable future. Many thanks, Matt. Formerly TK2388

cross hairs for E-11 blaster scope
carbonitekid replied to Laspector's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Some great designs here thanks. But....... Any chance of having them posted up in a format that can be printed off the correct size via windows pic viewer/ windows paint, for us less than technically savvy? Sorry to be a pain. -
Which armor blends best with FX?
carbonitekid replied to TK-5069's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
If you check out my Avatar <-------its FX armour with an RT lid. Not a bad match at all. -
