  1. Actually I provided pictures of my CAP armor AND my molds and exhaustively answered questions regarding the MTK armor origins.......Anyway,...I am no longer concerned if I am "vetted" or not so.....no worries. All I got is love! Let's get back to the subject before this turns into what it probably will without admin intervention.
  2. At this point....I just added the feature to the armor. The size will really be determined by the persons waist size in the end...My ab plate and back runs larger than others for people with more girth If someone is very small they will need to cut the ab plate as much as they can to retain the notch. In the end they may have to cut it out completely and make another without a return edge. What is the correct height and width then?? Assuming that the area would not change??
  3. "Cut the little notch (15x10mm) as per new EIB regulations. Doesn't quite suit the shape of my but piece now, but apparently that doesn't matter. And you can't see it at all when I have my belt on." MTK armor now has the notches. Just made the change this weekend...
  4. MTK armor now has the notches as well. Just made the change this weekend...
  5. http://trooperbay.com/ne-replacement-helmet-decals/ Thank you for your template! I am sending you a trooperbay T-shirt and a free set of NE hand painted look decals
  6. I have a used sheet on the way that will at least show the cut outs. I will get these made and post em up on the site in the next few weeks.
  7. If someone will send me a set of NE decals, I will happily make them a set of hand painted look that will fit for sure. I just don't have the templates for NE yet.... PM me for the address to send the NE decals to.
  8. Yeah! Livin' after midnight Changes Breakin' the law Metal Gods Freewheel Burnin' and a bunch more They sounded so awesome.!!!
  9. I made a good friend a few weeks ago and turns out that he is the drummer in a bitchin' tribute band called "Just Like Priest" AND he is a member here with the screen name TD369. I also found out that his band would be playing at the San Diego Fair this year, so last night I went and for an hour and a half I was 16 again rocking out to Judas Priest! Thanks guys!!! http://www.justlikepriest.com
  10. Turned out pretty nice Adam. I will take your suggestions into consideration. - The only reason I haven't changed the bicep is because it is the "tour" bicep is cast from a set of stormtrooper armor. Some things are just wonky and we have to live with it.
  11. Here is a step by step guide to assemble stormtrooper armor. http://trooperbay.com/videos/assemble-accurate-stormtrooper-armor/
  12. All I can say is WOW!!! I think you put just about every other builder on here in the doghouse!! Looks amazing!
  13. Looking good man! If you don't bleed on it, you didn't work hard enough
  14. Your ankle and boot will provide ample tension and spacing for the shin. Have you tried them on yet?
  15. That ear is actually about 1/2 inch longer on the bottom than it needs to be. You can trim off enough to line it up. There may still be a small gap between the bottom of the cap n back and the ear but that will get covered up by the rubber trim depending upon how you assemble the helmet.
  16. Little update. Today I went after it again since I am pulling armor anyway. I talked with a few people last weekend and made some adjustments. First, i rounded the corners a bit to be more accurate. I also shaved the height of the boxes down to about 7/8 of an inch. Lastly I rounded off the base of the buck to make de-molding a little easier. The end result looks great and I am using the new buck from now on
  17. Or I could send you another kneeplate if your willing to pay shipping...
  18. Well here is the formed piece. I think it looks pretty close. Probably need to trim the top and bottom a couple of millimeters still... Thanks for your opinions and advice!
  19. Here is what I have so far. i think its really close. The old buck top New prototype bottom
