  1. glad to see you're ok, i'll happily pm you my address for you to mail over the beer.
  2. looks good, although the ears need to flare out a bit where they fold under the sides of the helmet, and the eyes look a little big. but fair play to you for starting completely from scratch. can't wait to see the progress
  3. just snaps for me, although i've had to reglue once or twice. since then i've reinforced with hot glue over the top.
  4. i cheated and bought scott.m's spare one that was already built
  5. gah, you beat me to it.
  6. yay its been posted again, number 5 now. lets see who else puts it up. and that disney stuff looks too good for rubies.
  7. 1 million points to ghost. as this trooper walks up the ramp of the falcon you can clearly see he has the hook and not a TD, another mistake for the books i think.
  8. i spotted another error involving the same suit a few scenes later, during the "TK-421 why aren't you at your post" scene. First one to spot the mistake gets 1 million points. again this is a pic of luke, see comlink, but with a stunt helmet, but that isn't the problem. i'll post the answer in a few hours if no-one gets it.
  9. i thought the disney buckets had eyeholes that joined in the middle and that was covered with mesh instead of a lens to allow for better airflow.
  10. very nice, i'd love a set of clone armor as i always wanted a captain fordo from the first clone wars series.
  11. or fix them together as best you can then post a photo so we can see the actual problem, people may have solutions on how to fix it saving you from having to shop around for a substitute.
  12. if only they shipped that mannequin to the uk, it would be perfect for displaing my armour.
  13. considering its now the summer, and i may be trooping in my armor for the first time next week, i've come to the conclusion i need some cooling. anyone know where i can get a complete pre-wired setup as i won't really have time between now and next week to get the parts as i'm having surgery on tuesday (small op will hopefully be ok for the troop) preferably in the uk if possible. any suggestions would be most appreciated.
  14. good luck mike.
  15. i got the front and back aligned to fit me then marked that for when its seperated then placed the snap midway, not had much trouble with them
  16. i painted mine black out of preference, and as its fibreglass it covered the rough beige finish and the nasty smell.
  17. i think all i need is to finish my blaster, cut the butt plate (bit scared though) and get an accurate holster. may need to change the gloves or are the nomex flight gloves allowed
  18. Contact Deckard and check the fx lite thread. there are more than enough topics on here to help you just search through and you'll find a wealth of information at your disposal.
  19. too small, and generally... how can i put this.... they look a load of weenie! not sure about how to take them off. but plenty of people will be able to tell you
  20. Hanging
  21. just watched it, and i have to say i was dissapointed. seemed like a generic adventure movie which was watchable don't get me wrong, its a good film but it felt like they just added indy to sell it. could easily have been national treasure 3. good moments but there wasn't enough to get me into it, i didn't feel like i was watching indy at all.
  22. in reality though any creature or character placed in the scope should be way off center, due to a TKs inability to hit anything accurately
  23. i've been waiting to here for about 6 weeks also.
  24. got a degree in multimedia design and digital animation, but currently work as a CAD department manager for the north east uk office for a multinational engineering consultant. and its boring as hell.
