  1. Argh! Well this day had to come. My velcro has been melting due to heat and sweat for a long while and finally gave up the ghost at Collectormania in Glasgow. I've stripped it all off in preparation for putting on new, industrial Velcro. Unfortunately I've been left with globs of sticky mess on the inside of the thighs and calfs that I could really do with getting rid of before I stick on the new Velcro. Any idea how I get this sticky gunk off the armour before I apply the new stuff? Bearing in mind that I'm in the UK when it comes to recommending chemicals. Cheers guys!
  2. Allright Matt, we know how you feel, mate. I'd be bloody well pissed off if that happened to the UKG and I am pissed off that it happened to the DG. No more personal attacks or this thread is locked. I suggest moving the discussion along more helpful lines. What can we do to help our Dutch brothers?
  3. Disgusting and pathetic knee-jerk reaction on the part of the Duch police and government policy. Make 'em have orange tips if you must, but ffs, they're TOYS and the guys are costuming. Do they expect someone dressed as a TK to rob a bank? Get a fracking grip on reality you gov-tards!
  4. Wow, never heard that one before. Try your local fancy dress store for hireable outfits. Though I'm guessing you're here because you know that they hire out garbage in those stores.
  5. Looking good, bud. I've got the ears on, but stopped before the painting stage. Hope to get some paint soon.
  6. My god, there's some crazy long legs. j/k! Mine are so short, in armour I walk like I've cacked me pants. How about dropping the thighs an inch, or so to even up the black? Make sure you still have space to bend your knees! My issue is I have chunky thighs that push the thighs down, so I have more black than I would like at the top and none at the knees which is as painful as it sounds. <_<
  7. Hey Darren, At the moment the 4 rivets/poppers on either stunt, or hero isn't an EIB issue. The strap position is a little weird, but I don't think that, or the thickness is an issue.
  8. Very neat! Thanks mate. Learn something new every day.
  9. The ribbon is sweet! How did you achieve that? The medal looks like plastic now, tho.
  10. Um, I'm pretty sure the wires don't go in the front of the cylinders. http://www.partsofsw.com/want_cyl.htm
  11. Don't mean to crumble biscuit into the carpet. I love the concept and still think it's special with greys and blues.
  12. I'm slowly moving to all elastic and snaps. This past weekend has seen some vital velcro's adhesive melt with the heat and sweat, so that's got to go.
  13. On my existing 8 battery ROM F/X setup I have done about three full 6 hour per days trooping on a single set with no sign of power loss.
