  1. trim the eyes more, other than that, good job! it has eyelids
  2. also, on the inside glue the lower part of the face to the top part of the face. that way your seam wont end up cracking. i used plastic welder to fill the one i did for a squad mate. throw that 'no repaint' idea out the window too while your at it!
  3. looking good! the eyes look like they need more trimming IMO, especially the right one.
  4. atleast not around his waist. look at the leg where the ammo boxes usually are
  5. John, pics help. a 1/4" doesnt SOUND right though.
  6. the elastic on the inside of your shoulder bells should be black. you can trim material off of the sides of the cod for a 'slimmer' fit. start at about 1/8' for each side. it can get too skinny quick, so be careful and take your time!
  7. +1 just make sure you can get your hands through the forearms before gluing them shut
  8. i only use velcro on the back of my shins and if you cant get your hands through...velcro there too. thats really all you should need.
  9. mine are vertical, but do what you like. i dont think there is a particular way that is considered canon.
  10. skip the velcro and go with a snap n strap setup. thats a tiny vader helmet too!
  11. looks like another Elite needs to be added to the list!
  12. looking good, trooper! nitpicking here...i would raise the belt drop boxes up a little. they should almost be touching the belt...like, i said...nitpicking
  13. looks good to me. are your ab/back plates attached to each other?
  14. you need to have the butt plate on your butt! what i did was cut my ab plate and stretch it by about 1 1/2" (this gap will be covered by your belt). the FX ab plate it too short and you end up with a 3" long cod piece and then the belt sits on you hips. not good for mobility. the TOP of the belt should sit right under the ab button box and the BOTTOM of the belt should rest righ above the cut line for the back/butt plate. this is where you might find you need to stretch the AB so the belt is high-waisted like the origianls as opposed to wrapping around you hips
  15. you cant line the ab and back plates up, thats one of the problem with the FX make each piece fit correctly then adjust from there
  16. we all always have handlers and/or safe storage at events. no? i did the drop box mod a while back, which was perfect for an I.D./debit card, but never found myself using it.
