  1. ive read that before and it doesnt really answer my ?
  2. PLEASE no hissy fits! I'm asking because I dont quite know. I dont want to incite a riot about this subject. sensible replies appreciated. the armor listed above was derived from a movie suit? right? werent the molds made by backfilling said suit? is that recasting? if not, why? ...and, again, PLEASE no hissy fits! I'm asking because I dont quite know.
  3. not sure how much i might use it, but i like the idea. hmmm.
  4. TK toolbox rivet gun / rivets snap gun / snaps dremel / sanding drums x-acto / extra blades soldering iron w/ "burning block" drill / bits kitchen scissors flat / phillips screwdriver clamps! additions pliers pencil / marker heat gun painters tape seamstress tape measure sanding sponge(s) i think that is a pretty stout list now
  5. All good suggestions. I'm thinking along the line of tools and not materials. I'm that guy (like many of us) who will show up at an armor party and build a suit for 8 hours and just ask you to bring me beer and some BBQ off the grill while everyone else is playing ROCK BAND. Basically I want a TOOLBOX. The tools I need to assemble snaps-n-staps, and build helmets. I did consider a leather punch for straps but I found a soldering iron will put a nice cauterized hole through nylon strapping like nobodys business
  6. how crazy is it that the FX bucket is good to go, but the MRCE reqiues mods! ultimately, if your after the screen accurate look, just spend your money once. once you buy a full FX kit, then MRCE helmet and all that you could have just started with a SA suit. my $700 billion bailout $.02
  7. pencil & tape is a good idea. I'm not including "materials" . sometime glue and whatnot dont like being cooped up in a box!
  8. So, I trying to plan list what I need to put together a "TK Toolbox" If there is a tool you use building armor and dont see it on the list let me know! Here's what I have so far. TK toolbox rivet gun / rivets snap gun / snaps dremel / sanding drums x-acto / extra blades soldering iron w/ "burning block" drill / bits kitchen scissors flat / phillips screwdriver clamps!
  9. ab buttons should be smaller and the correct colors and your drop box straps should be white instead of black. other than that... nice pics too!
  10. i have green flim in my bucket...no fogging. dont know how/if that might work in the MR CE
  11. nice kit! the belt and thighs seem a little droppy to me. the belt for sure. both easily adjusted!
  12. place: stripclub clothing: optional no, not really.
