  1. That's the challenge, no great up close shots I've found. I do see parts, I'm no expert, but just looking at the shape of the helmet and those shoulder bells the best I can see. I love the speculation (I'm probably wrong) and I have always had a facination with this Peoplemover ride and it's old path thru Star Tours after going to Disneyland this month and seeing the remnants of the ride and the abandoned tracks. Looks better than the stuff they are using today in Disneyland.
  2. Looked a little more ESB to me but hard to tell, after digging some more I guess he was a little animated ,shifting weight back and forth. Cool little write up on the Peoplemover Stormtrooper.
  3. At 00:52 seconds I see a fully decked out armor set. Any guesses or anyone know the origins http://video.search.yahoo.com/video/play;_ylt=A0S00MsraK1RZCQASZ37w8QF;_ylu=X3oDMTBrc3VyamVwBHNlYwNzcgRzbGsDdmlkBHZ0aWQD?p=people+mover+disneyland&vid=3b4e7d6dd552f43c4240957f7cfb1e60&l=5%3A41&turl=http%3A%2F%2Fts3.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DV.4574454755755878%26pid%3D15.1&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DTxxbMHpM-9Q&tit=Peoplemover+People+Mover+Disney+Disneyland+California+...&c=1&sigr=11asd3j8m&age=0&fr=spigot-yhp-ff&tt=b. Does not look like the Don Post I saw in costume shops.
  4. Nice job Jez, that video is worthy of keeping for 30+ years as well.
  5. Gino pointed out that the greeble in the back is the same as the one found on the TIE in back, only rotated 90 degrees.
  6. Here's what that indentation was...WOW Thanks again to Brian...
  7. All thanks goes to Brian for sharing these great photos, maybe the video will be included in the Blu-ray release...ok, ok, I'm dreaming. Notice the back cap on this helmet that Brian said shows that it was pulled by someone else other than AA (Maybe the Elstree guys). Quite the indentation into the bell on the back, rather than the smooth ski jump transition we are all used to with the screen versions. Hard to see the traps in back as well, I can sort of see the front unpainted traps...
  8. I don't think Brian Muir (original armor sculptor) is a member here and if he minds me reposting this I will take it down, but I'm sure he'd want some of his biggest fans enjoying these... Thanks Brian!
  9. Good Job Mike! I know how tough it is...I am in my 3rd month after an 18 year career with a company I started when I was 20, and selling a bunch of things I would never have sold under different circumstances. It's really incredible to think how much you think your job makes you who you are and without it you seem completely lost. My wife's the real trooper, going back to work when she got to stay home before. Back to the retraining and job hunting. You and everyone else lifted my spirits today!
  10. It is nice glossy armor, but you can get more accurate for half the price. While the bells are dead on, the handplates don't look like ANH. I owned a set but ended up selling it for much needed money. It really is more of a display piece. It has the distinquishing aspect of being sold by the vac puller (not the sculptor) of the original armor and that's really what you are paying the high price for, that and a good assembly/strapping system. Too expensive to troop in as well and easily breakable in certain locations. I am 5'11" 178 lbs and I cracked a thigh the first time out, but got it replaced for free at the time. Are you looking for assembled armor only? It's better to assemble and trim your armor to your own build for the best fit.
  11. That used to be my order, until I got into armor kits....with stormtroopers all over ANH, it tipped the scale in the other direction for me.
  12. Hahaha, looks great Paul! He looks downright mean in that thing. Like us only smaller. Swoop in the bell and all. Reworking it again? Incredible! ...you know that by the time he's 16 you'll have 10 different versions! Put those side by side and that'll be a picture.
  13. Argh, you are right, edited. People on ebay using a don post helmet to sell an MR CE.
  14. I agree with Bigturc, picture speaks for itself...
  15. Welcome Kirk....from a fellow Kirk.
