  1. Former pro Good man! I used to be a 1st cat, was sponsored and stuff and in a team, but always for fun and never a job Good on you!
  2. Is anyone watching le Tour this year? Should be a belter this year. Contador is already under pressure having lost 1min 16sec. He's not my most favourite of rider, his style and the accusations. I'm backing Andy Schleck or even Bradley Wiggins Anyone else watching the greatest sporting spectacle in the world John
  3. Being serious for a second.... Did you know the search bar isn't an option on the iPhone etc...? Or if it is there, I'll be very embarrassed next time I click new posts
  4. Any clear lacquer would do but none of is ever do that as Terry says
  5. Anyone who has tried to make vac form armour bucks knows it's really hard getting eventual 360 shapes to line up left and right when cut out and joined to form a tube. How did you manage to get the clam shell sculpts bang on and able to line up so successfully? Had you had experience making vac form bucks before and how many times did you attempt to get them to line up correctly.
  6. TK boy, that wasnt aimed at you dude It's aimed a few members here who clearly don't bother to look I actually like helping folk out, so you ask away my friend!
  7. I just tried to search for the search bar and couldn't find anything? Where is it?
  8. I'm keeping a hold on this until the BluRay release Hopefully get to see more of the lower bit

  10. Dude that is so sweet, it's sweeter than that I love it! Great work mate
  11. Just use a biro and cut an oval out
  12. Yeah, really nice pics. Good effort there
  13. Look at this picture a second... Focus on the lower part of the main body tube (receiver) Look behind the pistol grip. See the green circle behind that? Well that's where your shoulder stock should be attached to the main body. Not where you've put it That's all dude Here's a real one, showing how it travels along the length of the bottom of the receiver If you think about it, it can't attach where you have it, as that tube has a moving block inside it. It's meant to be free from obstruction. Which is why that little shape and tube is there to hold the shoulder stock safely
  14. Lower the swivel lugs that attach the shoulder assembly to the receiver. (on top of your right hand as your right hand holds the blaster-assuming you're right handed ) Make some shape that sticks out out the receiver. Hard to explain, but the shoulder bracket swivels 'under' the receiver, not on it Looks cool to me good job
  15. Search for screen accurate build thread Firebladejedi (Mark) did a good one. Look in ANH troopers
  16. Maybe he has trying to appear 'cool' by mentioning something he thought would give him street cred We all know DMs are famous for the 'holers' quote 12 holer 18 holer No way were DMs used. Sadly, people here do know what was used, but just won't (or even more baffling 'can't'??????) share it. How would they ever have got to the knowledge levels they currently have if we were all like that
  17. Yes Karin (original wire strapping) Some clever chap just chopped up the family whisk. So did I after being inspired
  18. Didn't someone cut up a metal kitchen whisk? Did the same for my snowie brackets (very similar just a different angle) and it's perfect
  19. Hero all the way for me. Looks wider as the mouth is smaller. Looks more organic and life like due to the bubbled eyes. Both cool, but the hero is just that, the hero
  20. Ah ha, cool pics and cool book The kind an old man sits down on a rocking chair with whilst he tells children stories lol Cool handplates too Good pics Paul. Good work
  21. Not sure if it's been mentions here already ( on iPhone ATM) but it helps stops people seeing your eyes The plastic is usually quite thin and sunlight plus camera flash easily penetrate the lid and light up your face
  22. That's s long strap from your bells to your feet You mean the shins I take it Cut a little off the lower curve, pad your shin or try not to have them do tight...? Padding works for me
  23. Are you spraying it outside then bringing it back inside? Apparently a change of temp will cause a bad surface. Wait for a nice day Spray it outside Leave it outside
  24. Whatever the KG rating, it's a 4th for vertical cross plane stuff So 40kg force hanging from a ceiling would only hold 10kg hanging side on from a wall
