  2. Looking very good Richard. Do you have a special holster for the SE14? Have you worked out a way of weathering the armour and cleaning it off yet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Wow oh wow. The dedication you have put into this project is truly inspiring, especially when you have personal struggles to contend with. So much positivity comes from this WIP. Thanks for sharing it. Superb. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. Congratulations Brett superb suit of armour. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I don’t believe the armour is specifically for Rogue one but the guy was supplying the suit with rubber shoulder bridges. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. There’s a fb page called Trooper Stuff that sells RWA kits commissioned built and ready to wear out of the box, I remember someone mentioning that the shoulder bridges supplied were rubber and asked if it would be a problem for clearance. You could try sending them a message. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Looking truly great there Richard. Nice work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Congrats Tim. You look great in your suit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. If you zoom in on the top of the helmet it looks like it’s been brush painted. Finish is awful compared to the lower half of the helmet. I think as already advised , buy your own kit and build it yourself. eBay- ( stay away). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Hi there from the uk, I too started off completing a Eva foam build TK suit. I did it for a friend and then just couldn’t help myself making one for myself. This time though in ABS . In many ways it was easier building it in ABS rather than foam. No need to buy gallons of white paint and contact cement glue. And the ABS has a finish that just can’t be achieved with foam no matter how good you are working with it. You won’t be sorry. Previous experience in making armour definitely helps with confidence though. Mine only took approximately 3 months to complete, but was able to spend 3 days a week dedicated to it. If you have commissioned it to be built for you, it’s likely that some small adjustments may be order but just take your time. Look forward to seeing you wearing it. 12. Hi Bobby and welcome to the FISD. RS Props are chosen by a lot of people and is a really good choice. I personally purchased mine from RWA Creations in the UK as I wanted to build it from a kit. I can highly recommend them. It may sound daunting the prospect of building it yourself but you get a much better result because it will be exactly made to your body measurements. A bit like the difference between buying a suit off the peg or having it made by a tailor. I do believe RS sell as kit as well. The armourers here or your garrison your joining will help you every step of the way. It’s not as hard as you may think. Good luck with whatever you decide and look forward to seeing you in a TK. 13. Nice. It’s coming together now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Superb. You have achieved a much better result than mine. Well done. It’s one of the most difficult parts of the whole suit except for the ear sections on the helmet. The rest will be a breeze. For you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Ha Ha what a plonker I am. yep sending it over now.

  19. If you look at the back edge in this photo, it curves round rather than following the same shape as the front facing ridge. Just a little bit of trimming is needed.
