Keep your spirits up Nada. Those months will arrive before you know it! I, too, am having to put my build on hold, though it looks like it’ll be indefinitely. Gonna try to update my build thread about it in the next couple of days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Next thing you know there are 40 applications within a week. Haha. Get to it Troopers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You got this, Nada! Slicing off the knob on the backpack should be pretty easy. Can you remove that rivet on the pauldron? Is there any room to bring the thighs up, either by trimming any remaining return edges at the top (though it doesn't look like you have any), or widening the thighs with larger rear cover strips? Don't lose heart - you can do it!

I'm glad to hear you guys have found this thread helpful! If definitely took a long time to compile, and it will ever be a work-in-progress to update as I continue to come across other resources. As for pinning, I believe that is up to certain staff members, and I've recently seen @Daetrin and @Ripper_L take such action, though I'm not sure what the criteria are. Either way, I'm glad this thread will be helpful to future builders!

Blast 'Em!'s ANH Stunt Anovos Build
MaskedVengeance replied to Blast 'Em!'s topic in ANH Build Threads
Obviously I've been away from my own build for a while as well, and perhaps you simply haven't been updating your thread, but every time I see your name on Tapatalk I hope that it's you posting progress. Haha. Hopefully life has been ok on your end; things have been crazy for me. Hopefully I'll have an update in the next couple of days. It usually takes me several days just to write my posts. Haha. -

Welcome back, Jerome! I too and working on an ATA kit, though it's my first project with shiny white ABS. In case it'd be helpful to you, here's a thread I created to consolidate all my saved resources for my build. I consider it to be an All-In-One compilation of resources (though ever a work in progress, of course), and I included quite a few links to ATA builds and higher level approval request threads. Looking forward to following along on your build and progressing with an ATA kit alongside you! -

Greetings Shawn! I'm actually in the middle of my own build, and had been wanting to do the same thing you mentioned for Halloween this year (I mentioned it in my into post and on my bio). Except instead of a 7-year-old, my daughter was 7 months old when I started. She is now 15 months old as of this week, so obviously I'm taking my time, and I still have a long ways to go. As far as resources, there are so many excellent posts on FISD, but they can sometimes get lost in the sea of information. To help me with my build, I created an All-In-One resource thread to use as a reference, and I've linked it below. Hopefully it can help you and your son on your journey to the 501st as well. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/49412-all-in-one-tk-anh-stunt-index-of-resources-by-maskedvengeance/ Looking forward to watching your progress and building alongside you! -
Wow, this looks like a fun project! I'm sorry if I missed it already, but did you design the 3D files yourself? Impressive that you're making a go at it with a smaller bed Ender 3 printer, which is the same one I have! I may need to try this out at some point in the future, if the 3D files are available. =)

Greetings John, and welcome to FISD! Excellent choice with Imperial Boots, which is what many Troopers wear. As for purchasing a bucket, I would recommend trying to get one from the same vendor as your armor maker, in order to best color match. You will find that there are many different whites when it comes to ABS armor. Looking forward to seeing you with your kit on! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks good! Does anybody know if this is a hardcover book? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Welcome to the home of Stormtrooper armor! There will be tons of people here to help you along the way, so start a build thread, post photos, and ask lots of questions! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Stormtrooper Armor Template
MaskedVengeance replied to BlasianStormtrooper's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Honestly, Jonathan, I don't think you'd be able to get Legion approved in self-made PVC armor, but perhaps you're a skilled craftsman, so don't let my words dissuade you. That being said, the closest thing to a template you might find will be some for EVA foam suits which some Troopers have made for their children who can't yet fit in full-sized armor. I don't have any template links at the moment, but I was able to find some build threads by searching. My recommendation would be to go with ABS armor, and you can find vetted sellers at this link below. If cost is of concern, then you may consider ATA Works, as they are priced on the lower end. MTK/Trooperbay is another option, and I know Mike was recently running a sale. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/ I hope this helps! Good luck with your build! -
Yup, there are some excellent photos in the Gallery section. Both JoeR and TKCaleb have albums on there, and the RS Suit images are also screen-used. I link to a couple image sources in my resource thread below.

Great progress, Emma! To clarify about the mobility cuts—they cannot extend above the raised ridge which I’ve marked with a blue line in the photo below. I’m sure somebody else will provide some reference photos, but this is all I can do from my phone at the moment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

CoolHandLAZ's Anovos ANH Stunt TK Build (FIRST BUILD!)
MaskedVengeance replied to CoolHandLAZ's topic in ANH Build Threads
Greetings Luke, and welcome to FISD! I would follow Shane’s lead regarding return edges, and here’s a link to Joseph’s thread which he referenced! https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/48166-return-edges-101-ottk/ I look forward to building alongside you, and I am also in the middle of my own ANH Stunt TK build! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Hi Tanner! Have you checked out Pandatrooper’s ATA helmet assembly thread? I’d link you to it, but I’m on my phone now. But it is included in the All-In-One reference thread link I mentioned earlier in this string. Perhaps you might find it helpful. You can also upload photos of your current progress on your own build thread for us to see, and then better assist you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

chiefbonan's TK ANH Stunt Build (Centurion)
MaskedVengeance replied to chiefbonan's topic in ANH Build Threads
If the snaps are that strong you may considering utilizing strapping with an internal piece of ABS for reinforcement, as linked below in Cricket's thread. It sounds like you may want to avoid putting those snaps directly into nylon webbing or they might eventually tear out when trying to disconnect armor pieces. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/41502-crickets-wtf-hero-build-even-more-tk-for-the-vertically-challenged/page/5/?tab=comments#comment-605846 -
There won’t be anything wrong with being 1001 or 1057 or 1138. Based on the past year, it seems there have been around five EI approvals a month, which may speed up a bit here at the end, but we definitely still have at least a couple months to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Darth Waya's First Build Thread
MaskedVengeance replied to Waya Chetan's topic in ANH (Stunt and Hero)
You gotta take advantage of this offer to get together at some point! I’m several hours away, otherwise I’d join the fun! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
At least if E-6000 comes apart in boiling water it can be glued back. But I understand that it can withstand some of the heat, and may just soften at first. As for the cod trimming, have you considered slicing off that whole bottom section, trimming it from the top, then reconnect? I believe Sha Sha did that on her build, but I don’t have the link readily available at this time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Shinyarmour1 AP ANH Stunt First Build
MaskedVengeance replied to Shinyarmour1's topic in ANH Build Threads
When you look at reference photos in the Gallery section you'll see that there are wildly inconsistent cuts on the cover strip corners. Some are angled around 45 degrees, others near 60, and some are rounded. There wasn't a set depth of the cuts either, so this will really just be a personal preference decision for you. -
