I too built mine though this site. Honestly it’s not that hard once you get started. Reach out within your garrison, If you have anyone close by it’s always easier to help hands on but we will be happy to assist. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Agree! I’ve got AM armor and it fits me well I’m broad shouldered and about 250lbs. You could probably get a set of bells. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I’ve got velcro and I’ve got no problems. I also find it easy to adjust if you have issues with mobility. Leave the lengths long so you can have plenty of room for adjustments. Rather then regular snaps just adjust the velcro. Do what you think will be best for you. Velcro fails so do snaps. Nothing is permanent might as well have some play room while your doing it. As for the thigh turning I think if you did a garter system that might help. Also the knee issue can be resolved with some foam inside the shin to push it out in front of the thigh. I also cut a small amount from the bottom of my shin to bring it down a bit so it didn’t catch as much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

You got a lot done. A few things that might hold you up Your shoulder bells are too small. This is why you have the gap in the back. And you’ve still got some overlap in the kidney/back area Lines should be straight this is another issue with the shoulder bells being too small. Also not sure how to fix this but you don’t want that overlap here either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Was looking at the site again and they added some wording to most of the Star Wars pics. Guess people have been complaining Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m gonna second Joseph on the chest plate arm holes. I left mine on and have some issues with cracking there. Unfortunately I was afraid to take it off after the fact due to possible further damage so I reenforced it all. It would have been so much easier to remove it from the start. Good news everyone! My package has been shipped. Not sure how long it’ll take but I’m assuming it’ll take a month to get here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well it’s not a trooper but if it makes you feel better Matt. This was my Halloween costume last year. Yes I bought fuzzy fabric and glued it to boots and yes you can’t see it but I sewed a bag which is hanging on my right side. It was full of beer bottles so I wouldn’t get thirsty. Pretty much it was done as a joke but the onsie was super warm and Halloween in Pa was cold last year so I got the last laugh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had a neighbor in the 80s and he bought every Star Wars toy that came out in doubles. One for his kid and one to keep sealed. We eventually moved away as did they and he eventually passed away but I can only imagine the amount of money that would have brought in now a days. My parents stayed in touch with them but I never thought to ask if he still had them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lorelei's 5'4" ATA ANH-S Centurion-Hopeful Build

Looking good. And so you know I’ve pulled off cover strips after everything was completely dry and it’s a bit hard to get started but once you get it started it’ll come off. It came off “rolled” a bit so I couldn’t reuse it but it’s cut and was used for some abs paste. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Bringing the real question back to life here. I don’t know anything about seller and I wouldn’t trust someone that uses screen shots as photos. If your gonna spend that much you should just save up and get one from a quality vendor located on the forums. Probably too many modifications needed to meet 501st basic approval. Not even I would take that gamble. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks. I’ll keep everyone up up to date so make sure you save the post if your interested. I doubt anything can get from China to USA in their allotted time but I’m hoping for some sort of tracking number within a few days if anything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think the majority think it’s a scam and it most likely is, and one member said they would check on it for us. I’ve had the thought process that nothing will be delivered from the beginning and I’ll continue with that. I don’t recommend anyone doing it unless like stated before they have the $70 to gamble with. I’m by no means rich but I felt it was a fun gamble to take within this community of Star Wars fanatics, had it been more I probably wouldn’t have done it at all. I’ve seen this happen multiple times to hundreds of people and still made the decision to do it. I personally have done this before and had decent results but mostly not so decent results. It’s a horrible feeling when you get nothing but aggravation and no response. Did you contact your payment method? Like the credit card or PayPal. I’m full prepare to get the run around. If I get a decent costume then I win, if I get nothing I’m prepared, if I get a crappy costume my 7 year old kid will have an interesting toy to play with while I practice my hemming to make it fit him.
