I believe that is dependent on the GML of each garrison- FX lids are still, to my knowledge, clearable in many if not all (?) garrisons.

I don't believe the world will ever forget- forgive is another issue and is a more personal thing, I'm sure there are arguments both for and against forgiveness but it is probably best we don't have them here. That said I would hope there would be no-one who would disagree that this should always be remembered and the people who lost their lives or the people who lost family and friends should continue to be rembered and supported. I agree in that it did bring a unity which has now slipped a little but the cost of that unity was far too great.

Don't know whether it would help but if you shipped them to me I will always forward them to you, I'm not sure what it would cost but would be happy to do it for you.

I would also consider the size of the ankle part of the boot, bear in mind it has to fit under the armour, Caboots look to be much narrower in that department than the DMs. It would be a shame to invest so much only to find they are not practical. I did this with a pair of Chelsea boots I intended to dye, I tried them and they were way to big to sit under the calf armour comfortably, fortunately they are nice boots so I just wear them as regular boots I'm not sure white DMs would work for regular daywear though. Just a thought.

I have exactly what Paul suggests on my TK boots- it is effective on the correct surface but be aware it can be more slippery as a result.

Doesn't look as if it has been modded to me. There is alot of work in making one of these the best it can be, changing the ears, filling the gaps adding new lenses etc sometimes, as already has been said, cheap isn't always the cheapest in the long run.
