  1. I love the SE-14R but I think it should always stay as a may have because all troopers in my opinion should have an E-11 even if they use their SE-14R. I'm not sure that it would enhance the current standard to allow not having an E11 in order to clear as it is not a problem within the current rules to use your SE-14R.
  2. Aren't you a little tall to be that Stormtrooper!!!
  3. I will be taking some pics this weekend for my profile! I'm looking forward to seeing my name on that list!
  4. I look forward to seeing this at the weekend!
  5. I have mine in a hardshell case it works fine and is on wheels!!! If you are flying I would say you definitely need a hard case and I would recomend talking to the airline before you travel and explaining to them what you are carrying. I did this both times I have flown and have had almost no problems- When I arrived at Check-in they labled my case as Fragile and then I had to check it in a special dept where they take greater care- I also advised them that I had a 'Toy' gun, I was advised not to use words like replica, security asked me to open my case so they could see and after they got excited at what they saw they allowed the baggage through and sealed it with a secuirity tag so that it wouldn't be re-inspected. It is also a good idea to carry a pic of yourself in costume with and without lid so they can see exactly what you do. I carried my lid on as hand-luggage and that wasn't an issue although you do get some looks when it goes through the xray!!!
  6. I just wondered what is more important to people? I think there are so many differences between what we see on screen and what was actual. The more you study the suits the more flaws you see. Mark (FBJ) is completely screen accurate 100% but for example we know the lenses were flimsy acetate but on screen you can't see they are green or that you can see through them- so which is better? What we percieve or what is actual? Myself I'm trying to get the best of both worlds so the suit looks correct and is practical for trooping as I use it alot. Just curious about other peoples takes on this.
  7. http://www.tonybarnett.plus.com/snaps.html I think this is what you are looking for.

  10. I will do Blaster and Helmet shots today- Is it totally necessary to remove the decal? I have to wear it to troop with the UKG, is it OK to remove it and then re-apply it?

  13. You are talking about the codpiece...right?
  14. I can't see why he would have a problem with that? I agree it is miles better than ABS.
  15. Whatever Paul says!!!! I don't think there are many people in the world who know more about armour!!!
  16. I heard at one point they were working on 3d versions of the original trilogy.
  17. Urethane is usually a good alternative- I know I have Bat cowls made of latex and urethane so I'm sure it would work.
  18. Billy is that me to your left? I haven't seen this one- it is the Movium troop I presume.
  19. I just noticed how much I look like the guy in the middle- power to the short guys!

  21. I was just kidding! I figured I may have missed something and that it may well have been a very dumb question
  22. OK at risk of being shot down where did he saying he was going for hero? I realise the four rivets holding the holster is generally considered a Hero trait but isn't everything ok as a Stunt? Stands back and puts on bullet proof vest
