  1. Looking great, buddy. [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. You guys are too kind. [emoji847] In all honesty, I’m just taking inspiration from the many superb builds on here. Although I’m really pleased to hear that the t-tracks might be something a little bit different. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. It’s a lovely kit when it arrives. ;-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hiya, I see what you mean - there appears to be no option to add an item to basket. Probably worth giving them a call (07765993672). I had about a 1 month wait for mine. If you do speak to them, might be worth checking if they have an eta for new orders. Best wishes, Dan
  5. Evening all, So, I went back to my aluminium trigger guard (thanks Tino) and started to reshape it. I then started to smooth the edges. I also reattached my lens housing, (superglue), hollowed a little more out of my scope and test fitted the lens. I’ll attach the reticle lens soon. Cheers. Dan :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Hi Tony, Looks like you’re making great progress. That’s some good looking armour. :-) If I may, you might want to watch those sharp edges. I had a couple on my suit and they can catch on your undersuit. Or worse, on your skin. [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Fantastic. I’ll give that a go. Great way to disguise that front screw too, as you say. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Perfect - cheers, Tino. I’ll cut another strip of aluminium and have another go at shaping the trigger guard with enough metal to screw it in place. The piece I have would currently have to be glued - not sure that that would take many knocks before it came off. Thanks again. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hiya. Your rivet position looks okay to me. I went around 10mm and 10mm and it looks very similar. :-) Bare in mind that the screen shots show that each ammo pack is positioned slightly differently, so there’s a level of flexibility. Some butt up to the cover strip, some have a gap etc. :-) Example below: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Ah yes - ironic that I failed to read the part about ‘lenses’. Lol Thanks you. I’ve gone back through my kit and found the reticle lens. Based on what you’ve said, I’ll re-attach the lens housing that I cut apart. I’ll drill out the inside further to fit the larger housing in. Should be a relatively easy fix. Whilst I’ve got you, I’ve been trialing my end cap clip. The Doopy’s part is smaller than the aluminium channel. Would you suggest cutting down the channel to match? I’m also still not sure whether to use the Doopy’s trigger guard or keep working this aluminium one? Thanks in advance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Hi Tino. Many thanks for your feedback. Yes, I’m really pleased with the t-tracks. Hopefully they’ll look good when painted, too. Excuse my ignorance but, do you mean the smaller front lens when you say “crosshair lens / reticle lens”? If so, I’ve cut it down to size (from the monocular supplied in your kit) and will be fitting that after painting. I was thinking of leaving them clear. I’ve left it off for now as it was likely to fall out and I didn’t want to misplace it. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yummy gummy bears. ;-) (No worries - credit where credit’s due) :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Cool. Can’t wait to see your progress. :-) Dan :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. No worries bud. I’m in the middle of my DD build and Tino’s build has been a huge help. There’s some other really good builds currently going on too, from the likes of Tennantlim, Dracotrooper, Ayen_s and fieldmarshall, amongst other. Loads of inspiration. :-) Have you started a build thread for yours? :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. Hiya, I’m not aware of a list, myself, but personally I ordered Tino’s (T-Jay) completion kit. It includes all of the main screws and parts to replace the resin ones. If you’re looking to source for yourself, I’d still recommend checking out Tino’s build and the E-11 reference thread. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Well done to all involved. A fantastic way to expand upon the 501st’s presence and high quality costumes. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Hi guys, Great work. The kids must have loved it. Out of interest, what DID you say in the end? I’m yet to get my clearance so, based on your first post, I’d love to hear how it went for you. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Morning troopers, Carried on with the front sight block yesterday. I’m planning to use these original DD parts with the addition of a custom sight pin. Any thoughts? :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I’d test fit the parts before gluing the popper tabs. For example, the ab to chest can vary significantly depending on your height. I had to adjust my shoulder to bicep popper placement too. As you said, eye ball the parts before gluing. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Hiya. I’ve gone down the popper route, using white nylon webbing for the shoulder connection (chest to back) and black elastic for the rest. Depending on your method, the nylon shoulder strapping holds the whole arm, so strong nylon works well. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Congrats. BBB day is a great day. Hopefully you’ll have a great time building too. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Hiya. Power cylinders now underway. Mod to front of stock nearly finished. Also started cutting down the end cap clip to fit into the aluminium channel in Tino’s kit. (*Work in progress) :-) Dan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Hey Ethan, Here’s how I did mine. I went for the poppers route. Here’s the links to the RWA tutorial videos that I followed. And one of Billhag’s helpful diagrams. Hope some of that helps. Dan :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Cheers guys. Really appreciate the feedback. This feels like slow progress at the moment so you’re keeping me on target. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
