I think an "if present" statement is perfect for this. Now for duplicate parts I think this comes down to the DOs knowing the armor marker and which has the swoops. Honestly I didn't know on mine until it got called out
Here's one that should be added...
Shoulder Bell swoops. My kit has them and during my centeruion approval I was asked to swap the bells to the correct sides. Currently the CRL states the bells may be worn interchangeably, but that is not true in my case
Why not include brackets, and elastic shin hooks into the centurion discussion if we are going to debate brow height, and arm gaps. Those alone would make attaing centurion a slight more challenge just to get the ftting correct.
For anyone looking at centurion build currently, follow the current CRL. Do not go by the suggestions stated as at the moment they are only suggestions. If you have any questions about a look or appearance of your build for approval reach out to one of the DOs. They'll make sure to point you in the right direction as they'll be approving your EIB and centurion.
My work space is still piles of white plastic, elastic and other various parts from my build and I was done about 6 months ago Of course I always say I'll clean it up but here I am about to start another project.
Sure thing PM me whenever you would like
Also not sure which strapping kit you are going to get. If you end up going the bracket route (metal) you will need to make a return edge on the butt and kidney.
For Gloves I just use the black rubbers ones from Home Depot, as my goal was centurion level. I have white "handling" gloves I wear underneath them. Some people say they get too hot but I guess I'm use to it from working in a chemical lab for 6 years.
I know some troopers do black nomex gloves.
Not completely sure if its the angle of the pic but your tube stripes could be closer to the cheek.
A pencil width is ideal from cheek to start of stripe.
If he's doing brackets will need to build a return edge on the top of the butt plate and bottom of kidney as WTF TK those parts come as one piece and you need to cut them apart
